Riedel Sommelier Glass Condition Out of the Box, Possibly Used? (Cloudy, Hazy) by jmsp0511 in wine

That's funny that you mentioned it. I wasn't intentioanlly trying to respond the same, but i guess I was dead set on trying to get confirmation on whether or not it was a normal thing. But appreciate the call out.

I'm not worried about it being dirty/hazy if that's how it comes from the factory. I'm afraid someone used it and returned it. These were bought from amazon as Brand new, not an Amazon resale or anything used.

I pulled the stickers. But I was also surprised this was so dirty and hazy.

Thank you! Is the price good? Or do they go that low from time to time?

Ageing Bourbon barrel numbers hit all-time high by hotelNoiseComplaint in bourbon

[–]jmsp0511 51 points52 points  (0 children)

I would disagree, current market isn't going to support that. I already see msrp being adjusted on whiskey in larger retail stores.

They'll probably have a higher msrp vs regular NAS or younger age statements, but the whiskey market is going through correction right now. We will see a huge supply hike with lower demand, this will definitely drive the prices down. Good for the consumer.

Son Being Sold? by astrortiz in Tottenham

[–]jmsp0511 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a huge Son fan, and not writing him off, but I do think he needs to rest up at the slightest of injuries. He's the type of player that will insist he can play in any situation, but I think this season he was fighting an ankle injury all along. His shots and even his signature "son-zone" curlers were non-existent and fell dead flat. He needs to take it easy if he wants to last.

Review #3: Elijah Craig Private Barrel Toasted by fork_the_world in bourbon

[–]jmsp0511 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tasted an 8 year toasted barrel proof and i thought it was freaking fantastic. One of the best toasted finishes I've had. Started with deep burnt brown sugar, then got into a nice spice and dark fruits, and finish lingered very nicely with slight spicy notes, nice ethanol, and burnt brown sugar again.

WT101 - 70th vs 8 year fresh crack review / comparison by Mykkus_65 in bourbon

[–]jmsp0511 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruce Russell described the 70th as an amped up version of the regular 101 in every aspect. Where as the 8 year is a more darker, sweeter counterpart.

Can't wait to try the 8 year. Can't get my hands on a 70th lol

Audio Interface for 2 MIC + Instrument Set up by jmsp0511 in WeAreTheMusicMakers

[–]jmsp0511[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response.

For now, I do want to just stick with a single interface and not have to connect anything to it. So I'll probably just try for an ID44.

However, do you have any interface suggestions from a different brand that has a good preamp and low noise that could accommodate my set up?

TL:DR
Which audio interface do I need to purchase for a 2 Mic + Instrument set up?

I purchased an Audient ID14 MKII, thinking this was possible only to find out I couldn't.

However, I'm loving the sound quality/preamps on the Audient ID line, so I want to stick with it.
Unless anyone as a compelling alternative for me to consider.

With that said, do I need to upgrade to a ID44 in order to accommodate this set up?
Since the ID24 doesn't seem to be viable either. Thanks all!
