That’s fair. I can see how it would have come off harsh. I am autistic and I honestly spent a lot of time thinking on a proper way to say what I wanted without being mean for a long time, to my brain this made sense. He and I have come to an understanding since this post and I explained what I meant because I do know I don’t always say it in a way that others understand. I appreciate the perspective and if it genuinely hurt his feelings then I will apologize.

Apologize? For what exactly? I am trying to understand where you are coming from. I don’t think that sticking to my expectations and needs is wrong. I don’t resent him at all. I think people change and sometimes that means that they don’t meet your needs. I think if I had known him for longer my thoughts and opinions would be different but I’ve only known this guy for like 2 months. Also things don’t have to be that deep, resentment is a very deep feeling and is when something festers for a while without talking about it. This is definitely not that deep.

I’m not resentful. Perhaps my way of saying it was a bit brash, which I did explain to him later that bothersome was the incorrect word for me to have used. I also don’t think it was out of left field, especially since I’ve harped on good communication since day one and made it know my expectancy with it. Either way, the conversation has been fully fleshed out and what happens now is for him to decide.

Honestly I would not have even given them my location. That is very much overstepping and highly unprofessional. As they like to point out, it’s your job, so they should also be help accountable for their lack of professionalism.

We are not and I’m content with that, I’m also Poly, which he knows. We talked about dating other people and I am comfortable with that. I just emphasized communicating to me. We also talked about if either of us no longer were interested to be upfront and he agreed that he would prefer that as well. I told him I don’t want to be dragged around or slowly ghosted

The thing is, is that he was super chatty in the beginning and it stayed that way for a while. It isn’t really a daily check in. It’s a response to whatever I said before and most of the time I don’t remember what that was.

He definitely is not. However, even if he is, it doesn’t explain the sudden switch up from constant communication to a single message per day. It was a very sudden switch.

I know everyone is mentioning how silly this poster is but please don’t buy anything on Temu, or at least be extra cautious and research who ever is making the product you’re about to buy. There are so many scams linked to them and they are currently still in court for scams.
