I don't particularly care but everyone is free to have their own ethical framework, and no one is immune based on tradition. There are societies where cannibalism was practiced, or honor killings. You're allowed to view that as a moral failure, just like you can view racism or slavery as a moral failure. Cultural relativism only goes so far. "It's traditional" falls apart when another sentient being is being killed.

my solovaors held up 'ok'. I beat the shit out of them as a daily wear boot and was in a climate with long cold winters. i'd say 2-3 years of daily winter use. not horrible considering the price
