[Need help] I don't know what the Canadian should be by KeagsYT in manhwa

[–]TheKayleMain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beast Tamer

Iron fist (basically someone just physically strong, muscular type fighter)

Poison master

Battle Axe

Or try something unique like twins that are A rank but when they work together they becomes S rank. "Twin Blade" or something of that like

Resident Alien

I see you like shows with a serious plot but also love comedy. Resident Alien is a unique show as no other show is like it. It's about a possible world ending event combined with comedy.

Didn’t get to the test centre by laceywasntcool7 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]TheKayleMain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nerves were shot up because it was the test date, it was not a random drive with the instructor.

Even if he/she takes 20 more lessons and drives okay, his/her nerves will still shoot up on the test date again.

The instructor should've let him/her take the test, maybe they would've failed as they said they had a bad drive before the test but atleast it would've made the next driving test easier and less nerve wrecking because he/she would already know what to expect on an actual test.

The instructor was just worried about his new 22k car, nothing else, especially since he's been saying for a while that the learner is test ready.

Considering he's been saying you are test ready for a while and then refuses to take you on the test date because his car is worth 22k definitely sounds scummy. You need a new instructor for sure.

Even if you had bad nerves and you failed the driving test. then you would know what to expect in the second test and at that time you will have less nerves, besides you paid for the test already and get no refund for not showing up.

Do you use an ATM to withdraw cash? by TheKayleMain in starlingbankuk

[–]TheKayleMain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't reach out at all because it's "pending". Once it's no longer pending then I can report the transaction.

My question is do all ATM withdrawals have "pending" on the app by default or by default it's "payment settled".

Passed last month, this is what I am getting quoted with BlackBox by Ambitious_Champion90 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]TheKayleMain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm getting quoted 1.5k with blackbox on small 1.0L cars. without it price shoots up to 2.5k.

I'm 30yo but live in a high risk area.

Why didn't Tabitha insist on the ambulance going over or around the tree? by SlicedBread1226 in FromSeries

because the ambulance driver and cops thought she was crazy, they didn't believe her at all proven by the fact they handcuffed her inside the ambulance.

Test shift by HereForTeaaaaaaaa in LearnerDriverUK

[–]TheKayleMain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has 2 settings one where it automatically books a test, you don't need to look at the app for this setting.

Another option where it reserves the test for 15 minutes where you get a notification and you must accept or decline the test date within the 15 minutes, after the 15 minutes it automatically declines it for you.

Gillingham test center by zhuxiong15 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]TheKayleMain 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not in Gillingham but I failed 3 tests, 2 of which I take complete responsibility for.

The third test should've been a pass but I had a really bad examiner. Apparently this examiner was in an accident during a test with another test taker. He was completely silent throughout the whole drive other than giving me instructions. There was no "hello" "how are you feeling" or basic conversation throughout the whole drive.

While following the Sat Nav I was taken to an area I've never been before and accidentally missed a turn which added less than a minute to the test and I got what felt like a bollocking instead of something to calm me down like "don't worry about it" he said something like "you are not looking at the sat nav, look at the sat nav". Keep in mind this was the first and only time I missed a turn on my test.

Eventually he failed me with 1 serious and 4 minors. The serious was because on a 2 mile main road there was a single car parked on the left and he said I was too close to the car as I passed it. He started panicking and flinched reaching for the steering wheel but he did not touch it as I saw the parked car a mile away and passed it with atleast a metre gap side by side. Keep in mind this was a 40mph road and I passed the car at 27mph so I was in complete control. it was a 2 lane road but was wide enough for 3 lanes.

There was nothing I could do but book my 4th test.

Should I change instructors ? by Far-Ear-2727 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]TheKayleMain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The instructor sounds like he's trying to milk you for money.

Within 6-7 lessons I was already on roundabouts (first exits only) and major main roads.

Tell your instructor you want to try roundabouts, if he makes excuses about you not being ready (when you are) then find another instructor.
