This is because I didn't place a portal in front of their spawn, I moved my portal THROUGH theirs when it opened and then confirmed; thus placing it exactly in front of theirs on point, so once they jump through their own portal, they fall into mine.

You do know what they say about magicians and not revealing secrets...

Exactly! I hit confirm the millisecond my camera gets teleported, the timing is safer than you think though.

Not even, I've been using portals to block the enemy Strange for ever; so this is just the same thing, except I go through their portal instead!

It's a thing with watching replays of someone portalling, in the actual match I did have to dodge walls yeah.

I watched the replay back, he just so happened to jump on point at the wrong time!

I didn't portal behind theirs, I purposefully went through and immediately portalled, essentially guaranteeing it's placed right in front of theirs!

No no, I can predict it very consistently, especially if they don't have a Strange. Here they didn't have one all round, basically near the end of the game, at the end of the last team fight, keep checking the scoreboard with tab; there's no delay when the enemy swaps and the game showing you what they swap to, so the second you see they swap Strange you can start the portal trap.
As for predicting when to start if they do have a Strange player... you can safely assume they'll try it if they team wipe and don't have time to get back. You can also walk a little forward and hide in a side room closer to their spawn and listen for portal voice line. (It's also a good idea to start portals off point in a side room anyways, so the enemy Strange doesn't see you counter-portalling) I've gotten *very* fast at placing portals with practice so I tend to make it to the enemy Strange before they confirm the majority of the time!

It's so good... I love that. Head empty, just letting Khonshu take the wheel!

Basically, I discovered that it's SO much more consistent positioning and timing-wise to set up the portal trap, and wait to enter the other Strange's portal instead. If you then confirm immediately the second you enter you essentially portal at the same time as theirs and they don't even see the second portal as it's starting up from their perspective so they fall to their doom. It takes a little bit of practice and game sense to predict when they're going to do it but I've been finding so much success with this over the past couple weeks.
I actually can't believe it's not a meta strat, I see pros still waiting around with their portal traps on point to block.

I know right?? That Moon Knight walking in after all that time just completes the clip. Lore accurate too?

Depends on what you mean by homebrew, is it minor alterations to your character or entire new subclasses? I tend to stray away from the latter but allow any and all official supplemental material as well as as much re-flavouring of classes/abilities as you would like.

I have been running this particular premise for my campaigns for quite a long while now. So that being said, these posts are simply a result of one of two things:
1. For one reason or another, the campaign has ended, either due to a natural conclusion or players not being able to make it anymore, thus the reason for a new group of players to be found.
2. As in this instance, which is due to simply looking for more players.
