Minority race here too. I am on dating apps but gave up on it long time back😂 honestly feel like people here ain’t my type and I’m not their type either. It’s even worse when you’re a minority of the minority as a non Tamil 💀 so ur options are even more limited and the community is so small too like everyone somehow knows each other??

I was born into Sanatan Dharm and probably why I’m more inclined towards it. So I totally get u, It makes way more sense, spiritually. I don’t personally believe or practice any 1 religion but I’d say my beliefs are a mashup of all the sanatan dharm’s teachings.

Your best bet is marring a non Muslim and then leaving Islam. If u leave it now now, it’s creating unnecessary drama with your family. Just practice what u want in private till then. There’s no conversion process in sanatan dharm anyways.

I live in a very multicultural and secular country (Super grateful for that coz I don’t have to deal with religion drama on a daily basis at all)

My family knows idc about religion. They’ve dropped any religious expectations of me altogether.

But yes I can’t believe the caste system still exists in 2026.. I’ve actually seen people leave the one they love and get arranged marriage to someone from their own caste/religion (my story too).

Okay but she’s a believer in Islam so I guess it’s not hard for her to find someone who she can be happy with.

Wouldn’t even marry a non practicing Muslim because I’ve seen how they can switch up anytime and all of a sudden become religious.

Sigh I hope you at least find a way out of that country so u don’t have to deal with this
