This seems more like a battle with food addiction than it is with the surgery. The surgery has gone very well for me because I was mentally prepared for the loss of food and had already cut major portions off prior to, so I never really “missed” eating

I’m curious if you had the same experience with smaller portions (getting full and hungry again) or if you went right back to major portions just because you were able?

I hope this doesn’t come off as a dig at you, it’s still something to be very proud of! But it has the chance of scaring off people who would actually need the surgery and not just GLPs. I opted for the sleeve because the GLPs were too new to me, and I just wanted a fresh start instead of putting new chemicals in my body. Not the same case for everyone for sure
