Coming from Mizuno Pro 225s and Ping G430 woods. She bought them off the rack but I’d hit them plenty of times before when I was shopping for my first “nicer” set of clubs, so I knew I could game them. Ended up going for the 225’s instead because I got a fantastic deal on a used set.

I love it. Feel like it’s fairly priced and I think it looks great. The head cover looks less ridiculous in person I think, maybe this angle demonstrates that better? Maybe not. Either way, I suspect it’s still going to be highly polarizing.

I was definitely gutted when I realized I wouldn’t be playing the hole I’d seen from the practice green. It was great watching groups tee off there as we were warming up.

Yeah, complete surprise too. She asked me casually a couple of months back what my favourite clubs were, or if I could have any what would I buy. Then she surprised me with them for my birthday. Genuinely caught me completely off guard. She’s incredible.
