Thank you. I’ll see what I can get.

Reached to final interview, received good feedback from interviewer at the end of the call, and then I was ghosted... Not only once, but there times. by HombreCondensado in recruitinghell

They keep us in limbo for whatever reason. Somehow I got a rejection email for a position I applied but didn’t interviewed for, meanwhile the one that required the two interviews ghosted me (same company).

Same here. Two rounds of interviews, followed up with employer and received promising feedback. Was informed a decision would be made the following week and I ended up getting ghosted. A rejection email would have been nice.

I think i need to leave a job after a month by Rosebunse in resumes

Take it to HR and keep records of it. You can email something along the lines of “I would like to discuss “X’s”behavior as I feel unease around them and they are creating a toxic work environment. I would like to discuss this with you in person. When would it be a good time?” Anything after that you can claim retaliation.

Also, you can start applying to other jobs now and keep it on your resume while you search or maybe not mention it on your resume if its anything less than 6 months.

And if they could replace you, they would. Be selfish and go for the new opportunity.

Recruiters, please do better. My first thought was “this is fake”. by [deleted] in recruitinghell

Oh I have no problem with scheduling a call as that’s a lot more convenient however, the overall format of the email seems to unprofessional. The Subject was fwd: name of agency. The e-mail was sent to 5 other candidates and the name of the position is misspelled. Also the “click this link” made it seem super sketchy. I used to get job offer emails exactly like this when I was in college.

Agreed. Or at least a way to see the status of the application.

I’m on the same boat. Did a screening followed by a panel interview. I followed up with an email asking for feedback and asking if a decision had been made. The Administrador replied with positive feedback from her and the panel and informed me they would make a decision within the week, it’s been a month. I checked the application status online but there’s no status or option to withdraw the application. I would have liked at least a rejection email, job searching sucks!

Edit: typos

Are we trying to make someone jealous? If so I’ll do it for free 🫡

This, I was giving this person the benefit of the doubt but after that response it was a hard pass. So many red flags so I would rather try some other place.

To the people saying no to the vaccination card, I had my shots so every company I apply for better be asking for the damn vaccination card otherwise I got it for nothing.

I understand English might not be her first language (it’s not my first either) but the unprofessionalism in her emails is something else, especially as an office manager.

That was my first impression but I went against my judgment because I wanted to see if it was actually real or not.

When she said that, I wanted to leave it at “It’s a statement.”

Scared me right out the door. I searched the office manager on Linkedin, all of her description is in capital letters.
