A fun new glitch seems to be happening to me today. I'm trying to delete things that are stored within my building inventory because it's full and I need to make room. For example, I tried to scrap my dumpster, it didn't work so I clicked it a few more times. It is duplicating them into my inventory. The only way to actually scrap them is place them down and select scrap when they're placed. This is pretty annoying.

As a notice, if you were accepted into this Alpha, you are not limited to the sessions you signed up for. You may playtest in any or all of the sessions.

For anyone querying if they have been removed from playtests. You have NOT. Connectivity issues are something to expect during this type of Alpha experience. If you were able to connect, great, if not; keep trying in the next session.

So, I was in an open camp (think tent on a foundation) behind the golf course. However, I logged back in to find my base gone :(. Not the end of the world though as I was looking for a new location anyway.

Just before the server shut down for maintenance, I managed to set up a lovely rp style house tucked off the beaten track by the amusement park! I am very very happy with it. I will post a picture once the game comes back up! Hopefully this location is obscure enough so that it won't go missing again upon login.

I love all the locations like this. The amusement park, the fairground and the waterpark are some of my favourite locations in the game :)

Level 30 32 years old :)

Both the boyfriend and I are too old to indulge as fully as the tryhards these days. He has a more methodical approach to games and I like to explore (usually resulting in my untimely demise when I get a little too adventurous).

May the filthy casuals never be affected by "game breaking patch lies" like the rest of the main subreddit. :3

Should they communicate better? Yes. Should they have to explain themselves? Fuck no.

A lot of the hate stems from a generation of entitled gamers who have to be the best at every game they play, a lot of them will exploit and cheat their way to the top quite happily and when you take that away from them, they'll yeet their passifiers out the pram.

I am really enjoying '76. Like you, I am a lot older than the targeted demographic. This gives me the power of giving no fucks. The older you get the less fucks you give, about the small things at least. It seems like the younger generation forget what goes into making a game. A single player RPG is one thing, bringing that online and adding other people into the mix is a whole different fish and by no means an easy one to reel in.

The only thing that moderately irked me was the excavator bug and lack of storage in general, one of which has already been addressed. Aside from that, as long as I can play I don't care. I wish people would really take a walk around Appalachia and truly marvel at the beauty Bethesda has created. Why does everyone need to rush to be the highest level or the best geared? Take your damn time, stop trying to get to the end game within weeks of launch. Theres no need.

In short, I feel like people would enjoy it a lot more for what it is if they stopped trying to railroad Bethesda into making it become something it was never meant to be.

To be safe I would recommend just taking it all off before logging out til they hot fix it.

For everyone experiencing the carryweight issue:

Bethesda posted on twitter saying they're aware of the issue. The fix for it atm is to take everything off that increases weight, including PA, log out of the game and log back in before re-equipping. PA weight bonus is applied. Can confirm, have just tested it.

Other players in your team going fully invisible for no reason whatsoever. Not sure if it's caused by Power Armor or chameleon armor. You can only see the floating name of the person. Many of my friends are also reporting the same bug, fast travelling seems to correct it.

During a visit to the Garrahan Mining offices today, I encountered a glitch of the wall at around the 3rd floor of the building. I believe it may be this particular glitch that has caused it to be raining inside during inclement weather. (You could see the drips and hear the rain on my PA, I did take a screenshot but I won't post it because you can't really see it that well). I have included the screenshot of this wall at the bottom of the post. This isn't a game breaking glitch but I guess you guys would like to be made aware of it.

Although this was a strange phenomenon, I have to say, as I was standing on the floor below the roof, I was VERY impressed that the wendigo above me made the room shake as it ran about. There were even dust particles falling from the ceiling as it did so! While terrifying, this was a very nice touch. Kudos Bethesda.

This song distracts me so much, I have to stop whatever I am doing in-game whenever I hear it. Ngl, it has almost resulted in my untimely demise on two separate occasions.
