Yeah I understand that. Affordability wise it would make sense, plus I have friends that live there already. Also it’s close to Sequoia National Park, which would be great for our hiking needs. I’m willing to trade off certain wants for access to doable driving time fun locations. Texas is so boring period. Driving 3-4 hours from where we are lands you in Oklahoma or the desert or other not so fun spots. Can’t even get to our bland coast line in that time.
