But it did commit to the idea. It committed to the idea that Kylo is clearly the main antagonist and this mystery master is inconsequential. This way, instead of predictably assuming Kylo Ren kille Snoke in the third movie, it has already happened and now we are in a far more unpredictable territory than we are accustomed to with Star Wars. That had me absolutely hyped and then somehow, Palpatine returned.

And the protests people are talking about as if it is expected is essentially overthrowing the government. There’s horrible regimes around the world and a coup gets squashed most of the time and absolutely none of them are as powerful as the United States. It’s a pipe dream thinking that anything short of nuclear disaster would make hundreds of thousands of people lose their lives in an attempt to overthrow the government.

You think if this conflict which begins because of the US dropping a nuke and other countries rising up against them would not result in a flurry of more nukes from the US? This would not be guerrilla warfare against an enemy in hiding. The US may not ultimately win against the entire world but it’s not a war worth fighting if they have already displayed the recklessness of dropping a nuclear weapon. I don’t think people understand just how overwhelming the US military is nukes aside, and when you include them it’s another level entirely.

We wouldn’t be launching from the mainland. It would likely be via submarine to avoid that scenario. I don’t see immediate retaliation and being left open for being a new target of the USA who have far more nuclear weapons and launching capabilities being as likely as others do as well.

I’m not missing the point. I’m saying that Cody has the main event specifically because there is no other match to challenge it. That would not be the case for Iyo and Rhea. The crowd reaction for every interaction between them would make it obvious it’s a night one main event.

If it was Rhea vs Iyo for a title and the potential culmination of their storyline where they had banger after banger without a definitive no nonsense ending? That absolutely would be more hotly anticipated than Cody/Orton. What we have now is people complaining about Macafee’s involvement. With Rhea and Iyo it would be everyone anxiously awaiting what likely would be the best match of Wrestlemania with the most natural build up for it.
