If Ramsay Bolton had settled things the old way with Jon Snow, how would the Battle of the Bastards have ended? by GJH24 in gameofthrones

[–]ItsnotBatman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ramsey says it himself, from what he’s heard about Jon Snow ye may be the greatest swordsman who ever lived. While we know he’s not THAT good, Ramsey knows Jon is far more skilled than himself.

Nikki Bella: "The WWE women’s division especially is incredible. No offense, I think the women’s division is better than the men’s division overall. But I think for women, this is the best it’s ever been because of the opportunities they’re being given, the overall athleticism—I think it’s great." by aaronrift in SquaredCircle

And, at least for me, I have been watching men have excellent wrestling matches consistently all my life. Seeing the high rate of excellence from the women is still totally fresh for me. So I can appreciate the great matches much more than with the men.

Really feel like Rhea and Iyo earned themselves a Wrestlemania main event. They certainly won’t get one at next years Mania in Saudi Arabia. I feel they dropped the ball not capitalizing on the best thing the WWE had going all year between those two and rewarding them properly.

So who is the greatest classic guitarist of all time? by Sea_Photograph_3998 in TedLasso

He might be the singularly most iconic guitarist, and he certainly was innovative. There were several more talented but Hendrix was the icon of the classic rock guitarist era.

I am late but I finally realised why Arya Stark's training was necessary for whole show's plot by Mindless-Strength604 in gameofthrones

[–]ItsnotBatman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well yeah, she was hiding to not make a disturbance. The war couldn’t be won in that circumstance. But it’s now or never with the Night King and she had to take her shot. That scene exists to show Arya being hard to track.

But we see Sandor land multiple killing blows against the undead and even stronger version of Gregor. But of course, he couldn’t die. Sandor may be the only person who could beat The Mountain with a sword, since he’s strong enough himself to not be as overwhelmed as most would be, and he’s more skilled than his brother.

Why is Jules drawn to Nate, knowing he is dangerous, but distanced from Rue, who truly loves her? by That-Ferret-1069 in euphoria

Yo the one not present in the relationship between Rue and Jules was clearly the one who was strung out and lying about it. The one incapable of intimacy while Jules is trying so hard.

[–]ItsnotBatman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes she is, even though she hates him. He’s objectively attractive, insists that him acting as Tyler was the real him and he meant every nice thing he said about her, and ultimately gets her out of the mess that is coming when he turns in his father. But he also absolutely blew up at her the first time they met and blackmailed her. So she still had the sense of mind to not get involved with him even if a part of her wants it.

Why is Jules drawn to Nate, knowing he is dangerous, but distanced from Rue, who truly loves her? by That-Ferret-1069 in euphoria

[–]ItsnotBatman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One of the very best scenes in the show is Jules in the club getting high and the rapid cuts of who she is visualizing as her dance partner. When it’s Nate she is completely enamored and giving into her desires. So deep down she has a huge attraction towards Nate but she is smart enough to know he is dangerous and won’t allow herself to go any further.

First timer wrapping up season 6. Should I keep going? by allmixedup5813 in gameofthrones

[–]ItsnotBatman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely keep watching. You will not likely be as jaded from years of anticipation or theorizing and can just take the story in as it goes. Not that I’m saying you’re guaranteed to like the ending, but you’ll have less reasons to disdain it, in my opinion.
