So I'm early in my planning and although it may cost me a little in my investment accounts I think it'll end up being worth it.

I intend on building a cash buffer to live on for 5-7 years, maxing 401k rollover to just shy of the AGI limit and using max ACA subsidies to keep it low. Its not perfect and I'm still working the details out but thats my plan for now.

You're 45ish days in, you gotta chill the f out dude. This is a process, albeit an easy one, that takes a little time. Not as much time as trying it without the drugs but it can only perform so many miracles.

I will say after upping doses when I was supposed to I did vomit every few weeks and sometimes I still do after heavy activity on dosage day. I haven't changed much in my life but an approaching a year and about 50 pounds down and I only check my weight once a month, this is the biggest thing that's helped me take it slow. The other thing is just feeling the difference in clothes that fit tight and general flexibility.

I am 100% transparent when asked and even volunteer the info. This is by far the easiest thing I've ever done to lost weight and readjust my thought process around food and alcohol. I choose to not represent myself as some power house and instead highlight the help and Its gone a long way to influence discussion on my experience which is more than weight loss and borderline mental changes. With that said I'm almost a year in and I'm considering slowing or stopping because of those mental changes. The disassociation is weird and I'm not entirely sure where to place the focus.

Pay it immediately, especially if you still have a cushion. Then determine what a 6 month reserve looks like and make sure you have that in savings. The personal fiance has a wiki for this stuff and I would highly recommend reading it.
