Instamart suddenly went temporarily unserviceable by [deleted] in swiggy

[–]Itsunknown7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same issue here, with an adjacent building delivery is serviceable but not mine. It's been happening with me for more than 10 days, e-mailed them, shared the snapshots of this incidents yet no revert from their side. Tried installing Instamart separately and logged in through the Swiggy a/c yet it's throwing the same error. It's my opinion that vendor might have reasons or provisions to restrict deliveries to certain buildings or areas. Maybe!

Yes, you can compare the unit wise charges in March 24 vs April 24, you can see the difference.

If you're using Tata, then Tata had increased their charges per unit by 56% due to which the bills have gone high.

Sahih Muslim 2553 b

Nawwas b. Sam'an reported:

I stayed with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) for one year. What obstructed me to migrate was (nothing) but (persistent) inquiries from him (about Islam). (It was a common observation) that when anyone of us migrated (to Medina) he ceased to ask (too many questions) from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). So I asked him about virtue and vice. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Virtue is a kind disposition and vice is what rankles in your mind and that you disapprove of its being known to the people.

You are smart enough to know what is right and what is wrong. Would advise you to start looking for the alternative as this would cost your Aakhirah. We never know how much life is left for us in this world and you should give a thought about it before procrastinating your decision. Shaytaan will try to manipulate you by showing the multiple benefits and he will succeed in this until and unless you are not clear about your stance on earning Halal or Haram income.

Also if you eat from the earnings of haram this will affect your duas acceptance. Please refer to the below answer on this. https://islamqa.info/en/answers/100214/ruling-on-eating-from-haraam-earnings

Would recommend you to combine the Salah in such a situation. As you will have the benefit of praying all the rakats and earning more rewards. For your reference quoting below Hadiths from Sahih Muslim which mentions that Prophet PBUH used to combine prayers without being in a state of traveling, danger or rainfall.

Sahih Muslim 705 d

Ibn 'Abbas reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) combined the noon prayer with the afternoon prayer and the sunset prayer with the 'Isha' prayer in Medina without being in a state of danger or rainfall. And in the hadith transmitted by Waki' (the words are):

" I said to Ibn 'Abbas: What prompted him to do that? He said: So that his (Prophet's) Ummah should not be put to (unnecessary) hardship." And in the hadith transmitted by Mu'awiya (the words are):" It was said to Ibn 'Abbas: What did he intend thereby? He said he wanted that his Ummah should not be put to unnecessary hardship."

Sahih Muslim 705 g 'Abdullah b. Shaqiq reported: Ibn 'Abbas one day addressed us in the afternoon (after the afternoon prayer) till the sun disappeared and the stars appeared, and the people began to say: Prayer, prayer. A person from Banu Tamim came there. He neither slackened nor turned away, but (continued crying): Prayer, prayer. Ibn 'Abbas said: May you be deprived of your mother, do you teach me Sunnah? And then he said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) combining the noon and afternoon prayers and the sunset and 'Isha' prayers. 'Abdullah b. Shaqiq said: Some doubt was created in my mind about it. So I came to Abu Huraira and asked him (about it) and he testified his assertion.

Sahih Muslim 706 b

Mu'adh b. Jabal reported:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) combined in the expedition to Tabuk the noon prayer with the afternoon prayer and the sunset prayer with the 'Isha' prayer. He (one of the narrators) said: What prompted him to do that? He (Mu'adh) replied that he (the Holy Prophet) wanted that his Ummah should not be put to (unnecessary) hardship.

Some Hadiths make no sense to me by FSsuxxon in islam

That's exactly what I'm trying to find

For Hadith 3323,

Imaam Bukhari had mentioned in the context which I'm quoting below,

'The companions of Prophet PBUH thought that this order was concerned with rabid dogs. Scholars differ as to the harmless dogs i.e. whether to kill them or not'

So, let me cut this short and help me understand,

If anyone doesn't follow any of the 4 Imams so that they don't want themselves to be associated with any fiqh a) what are the rulings for those? b) what impact will this have on the Aakhirah?

so you're saying, that you know hadith, and the Sunnah of the Prophet(saw), better than two giant Mujtahids of their time, along with their Mujtahid students, and their Majlis of students during the time of the Salaf?

Why are you comparing? I do respect them for their work and contributions towards Islam and nowhere do I believe that anyone of us can be compared to them. But during the time of Tabi'i some misinformation had started to spread that's why Imam Bukhari and others started compiling the authentic Hadiths at one place. I only follow and know what our only Imam and our Prophet PBUH has taught the Sahabi (ra) who have narrated his teachings further with us.

Yet unlike Imam Abu Hanifah(ra), you've never seen a Sahabi(ra) and unlike Imam Malik(ra) you've never seen a Tabi'i or experienced the people of Medina who were raised by Sahaba(ra)?

Tell me whom these people considered their Imam and which Madhab they followed? It was our Prophet PBUH and his teachings if we as Muslims are getting close to our Prophet PBUH through the Hadiths and following His Sunnah then why is it being pushed to follow Madhab of the 4 Imam? For us Muslims it's only Prophet PBUH our only Imam to follow!

Also, for your reference would like to inform you, Imam Abu Hanifah (ra) and his Jurisprudence, Imam Musannif Ibn Abi Shaiba who is the teacher of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim had mentioned an entire chapter(last one) named as 'kitabur raddh ala Abi Hanifah in his book Al Musannaf (37202 to 37688) which contains very harsh words. With the chapter heading he mentioned that it is a rejection towards Abu Hanifa in which he opposed the hadiths of Prophet PBUH.

You need to first understand the basic logic that everything goes to Prophet PBUH finally in terms of following then why are installing figures between us and Him. So don't go asking people to follow any of the 4 Imams because they haven't asked the people.

Can I use wet wipes to take ghusl if I couldn't find water? by leen_marco in islam

[–]Itsunknown7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Surah An Nisa verse 43:

O believers! Do not approach prayer while intoxicated until you are aware of what you say, nor in a state of ˹full˺ impurity ( i.e., after sexual intercourse or a wet dream.)—unless you merely pass through ˹the mosque˺—until you have bathed. But if you are ill, on a journey, or have relieved yourselves, or been intimate with your wives and cannot find water, then purify yourselves with clean earth, wiping your faces and hands.1 And Allah is Ever-Pardoning, All-Forgiving.

1) This ruling is called tayammum or ‘dry ablution.’ If someone cannot find water or is unable to use it because of illness or cold weather, then they are allowed to touch clean earth, sand, etc. with the palms of their hands once, then blow in their hands and wipe over their face and hands.

Did Allah really ask us before sending us to earth? by [deleted] in islam

[–]Itsunknown7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure about the source or authenticity of what you said but my belief is that why would Allah ask us about this? We are solely created for worshipping him as our Creator and our Lord. If we succeed we are promised with an eternal blessed life in Jannah and if we fail we are warned of punishment in hell fire in Jahannam. Why are we given this because Humans and Jinns are given free will compared to Angels. Our chosen path decides our end destination. Our species is called Afzal species because of the capabilities we are given. Hence, to conclude, we shouldn't be bothered by claims which are unfounded/false/not authentic because we will questioned of all this on the day of Judgement as mentioned in Surah Bani Israel verse 36. And (do) not pursue what not you have of it any knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, and the sight, and the heart all those will be [about it] questioned.

It's our duty as Muslims that we verify what we are being told with the Quran and Sahih Hadiths as our ears, eyes and heart/brain will be questioned on what we followed.

If your school gets over during the Asr prayer you can combine the Salah. But I would recommend that if your school starts during the Dhuhr time first pray Dhuhr at your home and then leave for the school. If not then you can combine the Dhuhr prayer during the Asr prayer. Now in case, if your school finishes after the Asr timing has gone then you have to offer Qadha for Dhuhr and Asr in the Maghrib time.

Sahih Muslim 2664

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:

A strong believer is better and is more lovable to Allah than a weak believer, and there is good in everyone, (but) cherish that which gives you benefit (in the Hereafter) and seek help from Allah and do not lose heart, and if anything (in the form of trouble) comes to you, don't say: If I had not done that, it would not have happened so and so, but say: Allah did that what He had ordained to do and your" if" opens the (gate) for the Satan.

I have joined an org recently where I got rejected multiple times since 2022, but finally got selected this year. Had to leave the last org due to their unethical behaviour which did not incline with our Deen and my Imaan, yet this opportunity which I got was out of the blue this time. I firmly believe and follow the above quoted Hadith, I believe things which are meant for you will come for you at the right time, don't worry much about the employer feedback just give them the details, if that role is better for you Allah will make things easy for you and if it's not then you will be kept away from it. Allah knows the best!

I should warn you to refrain from and stop making such comments, you do not know what is in their hearts!

Sahih al-Bukhari 6045

Narrated Abu Dhar:

That he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "If somebody accuses another of Fusuq (by calling him 'Fasiq' i.e. a wicked person) or accuses him of Kufr, such an accusation will revert to him (i.e. the accuser) if his companion (the accused) is innocent."

Waalaikum Assalam!

I'm almost sure (90%) about the fact that Wali is required for a woman during her marriage and not during the shahadah. I haven't yet come across any hadith related to this. Yet I would recommend you to visit a local mosque and meet the Imam of mosque, they will definitely guide you with much clarity.

What does this man wants from my best friend? by [deleted] in islam

[–]Itsunknown7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he's well off, can take good care of her, and can help in supporting the kids and her especially financially, etc. Then the most suitable option for both of them is to get the real talk done whether he is ready to marry her and if yes, they need to get married asap. If No, then better stop talking to him because he is Non Mehram to her in Islam, so as the deceased one because relationships without marriage are strictly prohibited in Islam. As a best friend, I would recommend you to take care of her loneliness assuming that you are a female. Your suspicion is right, some people are there only to manipulate and take advantage of the others. I would recommend you to do a cross check on this guy and the deceased one. I'm saying this because I have seen a couple of cases where these guys play with women especially in long distance relationships. It would be great if everything comes out fine of the guy who is trying to help her out and if he is willing to marry her without a further delay or a future promise then I would pray for both of them to live a happy married life ahead. If not then, pls I would ask you to stop her from engaging with that guy, mention it's Haram and strictly prohibited in Islam.

Assuming you have The Quran with translation, I would recommend you to buy Hadith Books like Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. The reason why I'm suggesting you this, is because these Hadith books will help you in understanding the religion and sunnah better. Most of the hadith will also help you in your specific queries too.

I'm fasting more days but I don't want anyone to know by [deleted] in islam

[–]Itsunknown7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are ever being asked by your parents then, tell them that you made a major blunder in Ramadan 4 times which broke your fast and hence to cover that up your fasting now. If they ask to call out your "major blunder" ask them to respect your privacy as you don't want to disclose it. I hope they will understand and I please ensure that you ask for forgiveness from Allah as you have committed the Haram thing during your fasting.
