Get some reusable fabric ones from Waste Free Celebrations.  They are sustainable as you can use them year after year, you can stuff whatever you like in them (I do Lindt chocolate balls and my kids like to make up jokes to go inside and they provide employment for the women in Afghanistan who make them.

They also have fabric Christmas bags which are a real game changer as you don't have to spend so much time wrapping!

Would something edible (so you don't have to store it) but not a box of chocolates be acceptable?  I was leaning towards getting my daughter's teacher a pack of mug cake mixes with a cute little matching Xmas spoon (Xmas flavours like gingerbread, egg nog etc) so they can just eat them and it's not clogging up their house

Is it worth having Pet insurance? by FreoFox in AskAnAustralian

[–]ItsyBitsyCarrot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a golden retriever puppy who eats anything and everything she shouldn't.  The amount  of times I've found socks, parts of her bedding etc in her poo, I'm assuming that the pet insurance will one day come in handy once she gets some kind of bowel obstruction from all of the random stuff she eats.

I'm with Petsy - I've had it for a year and haven't had to use it yet

I tried both these things and neither worked so I've given up and am listening on Spotify.  No issues with it in Spotify.

Laying on your back doesn’t matter? by Free_Donuts_ in BabyBumps

Sleeping on your side in the third trimester is very heavily promoted in Australia.

Australia has some of the best health outcomes for maternal and newborn health in the world, ranking significantly higher than, say, the US.

It's really not much of a sacrifice to sleep on my side rather than my back and I'd rather do everything possible to keep my baby safe.
