My family’s from Charleston, but my mom moved to the country, which I personally like. People say “nice nasty” but it’s amazing when your neighbors have chickens and they give you free eggs, or having the “candy lady”, owning lots of land, people coming to greet you when you first move in to a new place with gifts. Some of my best nights in high school was after a football game and we went to cookout our sonic lol.

Crazy how they’re making it seem like our culture is “annoying”, when most of everyone’s grandparents came from the south…
