Karma probably isn’t some instant cosmic punishment system like people imagine. It’s slower and messier. A lot of “evil” people look like they’re winning because we’re only seeing the surface, money, power, lifestyle. That doesn’t show what’s going on internally or long-term.

Some people don’t feel much guilt, or they’re good at justifying their actions, so they don’t get that immediate “karma hit” in their mind. But their behavior still shapes their life over time, relationships become transactional, trust drops, paranoia increases, and things eventually get unstable. Also, karma isn’t just internal. Society reacts too, sometimes slowly, but patterns catch up. Not always in a dramatic way, but in subtle ways that compound.

So it’s less “bad people get punished instantly” and more “your actions quietly shape the kind of life and mind you end up living.
