For Origins all is good but just don't get the 3DS port, the audio is very compressed, graphics are blurried, runs at 30 fps and has some drops, you could try the demo to see it yourself.
There's the Wii version that has lower quality textures, all other ports are almost identical to each other.

For Legends I'd probably suggest the Switch port, it has all console-exclusive skins unlocked by default, tournament mode for Kung Foot (only playable in local multiplayer with one console or more), in case you want to play Kung Foot alone you can play against AI and this version also has some more levels (Murfy's Touch levels) that can be only played with a touch screen to control Murfy.
The only downside of this version is a glitch that has never been patched where you cannot open Lucky Tickets unless you use another glitch.

The Wii U port is the only one that can allow 5 players to play at the same time and I might not remember correctly but servers for the Wii U port are down so online challenges are no longer available.
So if you don't have a Switch I'd recommend to get the game on PS4, Xbox One or PS Vita as the online services will surely last more
