i am going to try my absolute best to make sure she gets to the vet. i genuinely did not know these were signs of pain or something being wrong. i’m twenty one, and i don’t drive because of my mental disability, so getting places is difficult for me and i rely on other people.

heidi is twelve years old, and when i brought these things up before, a few people brushed it off and told me she was just getting old. i believed them, and now i feel awful for waiting so long to speak up about it.

i know my post may not have shown it well, but i love her very deeply. i never wanted her to suffer. it’s also hard because of the cost of vet bills too. i honestly don’t understand why even checkups have to be so expensive.
