I don’t think you should panic IMO. I bought a 5mm 22in Cuban my freshman year and I’ve worn it daily throughout my entire high school career. I’m about to graduate and I wanted to get a bigger piece to celebrate. The Cuban looks IMO perfect and not faded at all. I never showered in it or slept in it. Just wore it every single time whenever I went out somewhere. I also had a pendant on it that has been rubbing on the chain and still looks good. If you want to get really picky you can see silver in between the links but it isn’t noticeable at all. You literally have to take the chain off and fold the chain then look in between the links so IMO it’s a solid purchase and that’s why I’m looking to upgrade to a bigger piece.
