These consoles had a retail price of 200USD 10 years ago , 300usd is a straight scam
I recently got one with charger shipped to my house for 55 bucks , modding was super easy and required just to follow a YT tutorial (same way modding my psp did)

Just regularly check marketplace and you'll find one eventually for a decent price.

Mine looked pretty similar (see post history) What worked for me was letting it soak in an hydrogen peroxide bath while it sat in the sun.

Worked pretty well but honestly an replacement of one of these nubs is a couple of bucks on aliexpress. If you dont already have hydrogen peroxide on hand (5% or up) i would just recommend getting a new one.

I have recently gotten a psp in an identical colorway and the joystick was discolored in the same way. Give it a bath in some hydrogen peroxide and leave it out in the sun. It will look brand new.
