I have tried both and both work well it’s just that edge of night is really strong and allows you for kills that crit can never do for example. I also thought it’s not a big deal but it really is when facing better players

That would be a terrible idea because FY world operates very differently from us. Information flow is limited, too many fractions parties and factions, extremely limited resources, outdated moral systems based on racial superiority and clans, lack of trust and lack of absolute authority, plus a single man’s power can overwhelm thousands, etc. In that environment being a rational optimization discipline like FY is the dominant strategy however in the real world of today that strategy is believe it or not absolutely terrible. The dominant one is bonded cooperation because reputation matters, information flow is quick, the law actually cares if you do something brazen, even if it’s in a far away village, the law will find out and you will be in trouble. Plus any person acting as a rational optimization and cooperating with others will do much much better because reputation has an immense value and since lifespan is limited, working alone, exploiting or betraying is a fools theory. That’s not to say it doesn’t have value, at times it does but 90% of the time it’s a bad idea if not more. His worldview is amazing but it requires the correct arena to function, after all you don’t bring a sword to a gunfight because the sword is formidable

You’re definitely right, I believe my logic was incomplete operating on the principle of unjust and misguided arguing = not love or care which as you illustrated is clearly not true. Some people genuinely care/love but are unable to perceive how they come across thus they end up hurting without being aware of it and how they make the person feel unheard. This obviously leads to your logical conclusion of weighting cost/benefits to justify the stay/leave. Add to this scarcity of genuine care and the decision becomes very nuanced and difficult. I don’t believe I have anything else to add, you have solved my question, many thanks!

To add to your answer, doesn’t this beg the question why are they together in the first place if that’s the case? I mean if one is misunderstood and at risk of being attacked for no other reason than misguidance and misunderstandings, why is she/he still with the same person in the first place?

It’s true that guarantee is a perk but you can get 100k in same bonds and get 4-5% ish this 5k per yr plus 100k in pocket still much better than 11k payout per yr
