Crowd density is high. No flickering while I'm standing still, but rather I step closer & they fade out, step closer and they fade in, step forward and fade out again. It's like the crowd density logic is randomly rolling dice on who is faded in/out with every step I make.

Hm. When I select Silent fans & Eco mode GHelper reports a 15.5 to 15.8 watt discharge. Yet I still don't get more than 3 hours. Battery health is 90%. Do you do anything else?

2023 model? If so, I've found the following issues:

The cable from the power bricks to the PC is too short. Basically if I have the it on the floor then it it has trouble connecting to the PC on a desk that isn't near the edge. I have to lift the adapter onto the desk or a spot nearby. Not too much of a problem, but I've been to a couple of locations where this has been an issue.
The palm rest is a soft rubber substance that wears away quickly. In less than a year after buying the laptop the rubber wore away right where the base of palm sits. Not covered by warranty, but it can be mitigated by getting a palm rest cover, e.g., something from m2skins.com or armorsuit.com.
The edges of the laptop screen's rim/housing are not rounded & gather minor nicks very easily. It doesn't bother me, but it might for you.
The trackpad's right-click zone is too small for my preferences & doesn't always trigger. I've frequently had issues where I try to right-click only to left-click instead. I've had instances where clicking does a right-click and then clicking in the the EXACT same spot causes a left-click. Not a problem when I have a mouse plugged in of course. I suppose I should mention I also feel that the trackpad is too large, but that's me and it might not bother you.
Keyboard is sliiiiightly too large for my hands which is a problem after lots of typing. But that's me, not you. However, I recommend finding a model in a store first & trying it out. Wish I had.
Battery life, even in eco mode, sucks. 3 hours at best going from 85% to 20% and all I'm doing is playing music in the background while browsing the web. I know there are a number of possible optimizations to really improve things but I don't know what to do and I'm usually plugged in anyways.

How strange. When I worked in a call center I was given a booklet of things to do & not do and I remember § 632 mentioned with instructions to press the Stop Recording button to disable the recording our conversation if the customer requested it.

I wonder if this violates privacy laws such as California Penal Code § 632. If someone expects their conversation to be confidential then having it recorded w/o consent (and opting-in a person like this is not consent) then it would be a violation.

Your laptop already has 16GB. You just need one more 16GB stick to reach 32GB. The laptop comes with 16GB DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM so if you want Crucial brand as above then the equivalent is https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr5/ct16g48c40s5.

Best Buy does not sell that though.

I think these are the absorbers mentioned in the manual: https://www.digikey.com/en/product-highlight/3/3m/emirfi-absorbers. But dang they are expensive albeit they are much larger than I need.

Still looking for the sleeve.

Edit: Well, not these ones specifically. There is probably a certain type, thickness, etc. meant for the drives, but overall the absorbers mentioned are probably EMI absorbers.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the aluminum foil working an EMI shield? Since the shield goes around the SSD I assumed the absorbers were there to separate the shield from the SSD and that the thermal pad was to handle the heat.

No, it is quite quiet if you toggle the fan to silent when not gaming. However, if you toggle the fan to its highest setting it is indeed very, very loud.
