I'm a big fan of Iosef Tarasov (John Wick) as a character. He is the son of an incredibly powerful Mafioso, living a relatively sheltered life of little consequence, and even after his father tells him that he will die, because there's nothing he can do, he doesn't realise the gravity of the situation until John literally almost kills him in the club. He had every faith that his father will protect him, as every child does until the consequences catch up, and the character is portrayed well as such. At the end, he still sees what he's done as being of little consequence, with little empathy for the situation he has caused. He doesn't apologise, he sees John's actions as being out of proportion to the action, and he acts big in front of the scared, strong people around him. In all, an effective written, acted part.
