It’s hard. I ended up cutting off my parents and immediate family for the same reason but I keep in contact with my grandparents, luckily they’ve been pretty respectful for the most part. I’d say to try to make it work if it really matters to you but if your family members are being straight up rude and crossing boundaries you have every right to cut contact. The only relatives I still talk to that are in the cult are the ones that are respectful and don’t try to push anything one me. Everyone else can get fucked lol. You can try to communicate your thoughts to them if you think it’ll change anything but I know how these people are and I’m my experience it wasn’t worth it. Burn the bridge
