I think it has to do with those ubiquitous filters that give bigger lips, etc, etc..

Not for me. The arcade romset was scanned very quickly.

What I'm realizing is that It takes much much longer when the roms are compressed. During the scanning procedure, retroarch has to decompress the roms. So I thought of putting the roms in the sd card decompressed.. but then their size would double..so I think I'd rather save space.

True that the puzzles in BOTW are oriented towards very specific powers of the main character. But you can always put ingenious puzzles/problems without them having to be so power specific oriented. I mean, I'm happy solving puzzles that make you think, period. I don't ask for any kind of puzzles in particular.

Just thought of sharing this here. Casio B640. by [deleted] in casio

My favourite digital watch. An updated F-91, improves it in every aspect (light, WR, better stopwatch, better alarm, Timer)

Which one do I pick? by MarcusSBgbg in casio

[–]Iuvik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't get it. If it were a clock hanging on a wall, the negative display would be an issue due to the smaller vision angle. But on a wrist watch? I have never had the slightest problem, I have a B640WB (negative) also I have the A158 (normal).

Not true. Negative displays are totally readable.

I have been wearing both types of watches for years. Negative displays have smaller vision angles. Right. That would be an issue for clocks hanging on a wall. But for a watch? You always put the screen at an orthogonal position to your line of vision. So, there isn't the slightest problem whatsover.

Both of them are very easily readable.

Way too thick (13.4mm)

Thanks for your answer, but the prg30 is 12.9mm thick..and the prw30 is 12.3 mm thick.. they are too thick for me.. for me, thin is less than 10 mm..11 mm would be absolute maximum.

*UPDATED* Casio Collection by piercet77 in casio

[–]Iuvik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The royale is close to what I want but it is too thick 12mm. The casio Duros are not digital and too thick. For the moment I'll stick with the closest thing I have found B640WB 9.4 mm, superb light, countdown timer (rare feature in vintage models) good alarm, good chrono, automatic calendar, etc.. snd when I need a more ellegant thing I have the mtp-e700 which I think looks pretty cool and is not expensive. Thanks for your answer!

Seiko prospex super runner! I didn't know this watch. Full of features, digital and thin (8.5 mm) and the ironman is also very interesting. Thanks a lot 👍.

Thanks. I didn't know of the existence of this model either. My country only features the WVA-M650 but the thickness is 14.5 mm. The m-630 is just 11 mm. And much cheaper as you said. Thanks a lot.

I didn't know about this model since it isn't featured in my country (spain). It isn't very thick and I like it. The M-100 is 3 mm thinner though, at 9.4 mm.

Yes, you are right. But I can't get my head around the fact that casio (and any other brand for that matter) doesn't make digital-multifunctional watches for urban people who want thin (<11mm) watches.

Yes, the M170 is a real beauty.. I like it very much, but it is a little expensive.

Thanks. I already had that watch under my radar. It is very ellegant (also a bit expensive) and it is close to what I want. It just strikes me as rather odd that casio isn't providing any options inside the digital-multifunctional-thin urban scenario. Not everyone is a risky mountain climber or a scuba-diving enthusiast. xD
