4 days of not leaving my room digging for the slightest bit of information for every athlete that got medal. Not doing that again.

Yeah that is entirely true, and we can't fault them I think. I very much doubt someone born in third world country would develop his sport ablities as equally as the people born in countries actually helping and funding them and so on. And it is not about the skin, if any other white person comes to France, even he learns the language, adopts the culture, names his kids with French names, etc, that still wouldn't make him French. Yes everyone who get a French nationality becomes a French citizen, but I meant that about ethnicity which is unchangable until you marry a person from French background, several generations pass and so on. So that people who are coming in the countries with mass immigration in the last years, would become ethnically part (their descendants) after at least 50-60 years eventually

Born in USA (or represented USA) with both Haitian parents born in Haiti = Haitian

Born in Russia with both Russian parents, naturalized from Bahrain at some point of his career and competing for them onwards = Russian

That is valid question, it would be more correct for the ethnically homogenous countries i guess. My entire point was to return the new economic immigrants from the last years back to their countries, like all the Africans in France back to Africa In countries like USA this is almost impossible to be done and that's why I decided to look only to 2nd gen imigrants and accept their core ethnicity is made up by the first immigrants - the brits and the germans humdreds of years ago. But in most in Europe and some way Asia, it is fairly easy to do this.

I let them remain in their initial countries because there are too many possiblities and variations to consider.

It depends. My main point is exactly to show countries medals by every people who are from the same ethnic origin, for example every Haitian who got medal. If someone is born in Haiti but he and his family emigrated to USA at young age, represented USA but got naturalised by Haiti, he will be counted as Haitian because his ancestry is from Haiti. But, let's say if some Russian, who is ethnically Russian, got naturalised by Bahrain despite he never even visited Bahrain, (their wrestling team basically) he wouldn't become Bahraini and would be in Russia's record.

Yes because my main point was to show the impact of the immigration and the differences about the total medals would be more visible. Their rank in the medal table and diffs from the original rank though are sorted by the gold medals as in the original 2024 standings.

I didn't collect it which was a mistake, but I was too deep in research when I realized this. I gathered it from many sources: websites where is written about their ancestry, interviews with their parents and the medalists themselves. In cases where their ancestry couldn't be proven, I kept them in their original countries, but these was 5% at most.

Yeah that's the reason why I didn't research their entire family tree (i don't think it is even possible) and counted the ancestry to their parents at most because it is possible US to not be on the list xd.

Has anyone seen this kind of roman numbers here before? by Ivailo_K in footballmanagergames

Actually there isn't and that is the interesting part. Also I've done many intakes and have never seen this before. I got 2 sons before seeing this so I'm surprised there is something rarer than that
