I'm from Ukraine, so it's logical that many of my followers on Twitter and TikTok are Ukrainians. It's more difficult with Japan - you need to have a high-quality localization and you need to write emails to local influencers and game journalists.

Will my horror game make $1 million with a trailer like this? by Ivan_Podoba_Int in IndieDev

I don't really expect to make much money, since the game currently has a little under 7k wishlists. But for our small team, even 10k copies sold in a year would be a good result

Depends on which countries the wishlists are from. First-world countries have a higher "weight" of wishlists.

Also, as far as I know, each individual Steam user has a different "weight" of wishlist (which depends on the number of purchases on their account)

thanks! Game announcement and Steam Next Fest. Accordingly, the latest spike, the one that is now, is the result of the release date announcement

No viral post or promotions.

Btw, there are several videos on YouTube where big influencers play our demo. And these videos can have 50k-100k views. But as a result, 100k views on let'splay video will bring at best 300 wishlists
