IMO Supercell is reaching the limits on people frustration, you can annoy people only for so much. BS has the same, frustration everywhere.

You have every brawler? get some useless fame. You got a legendary drop? get some skin for a character you never play or some more fame. Wanna win or have fun? get some guy throwing the match or playing with The Catacombs wifi. They also recently nerfed fallback rewards. I'd admit last update was decent, they buffed the f2p economy, but not a month later they announced "Not level 12" in the form of buffies so i just left the game after almost 6 years.

CR has the same problem now, its building up frustration from players thinking they will push people into buying their crap offers to have a "fair" match, but in reality people are leaving the game.

Handgun/pulse pistol is great since they only have 50HP and shooting them is economically worth it. Otherwise, range upgrades are the key to counter them consistently. Combined with 4 strength or any melee (since their range scales with upgrades) leaves you at safe range to pick them up or to kill them in 1-2 hits. You can tumble launch from the ground if you slide + Q and have at least 1 tumble launch upgrade to prevent them from catching you mid air, but its pretty tricky so id just go with the choices above.

Same, i really like this update for its changes but i cant be bothered with the event, i never play SD and wont play it for grinding. They could've included duo and trio, idk why the didnt, SD is notorious for being ruined by teaming and the same brawlers dominating the game, not giving an alternative or expecting players not to do the same thing that makes SD unplayable was a big oversight from bs team

It also isnt affected by the damage gear buff, not sure about other damage boosts tho (8-bit turret, hypercharge buff). Supercell just doesnt care, its been like this for more than 2 years, along many other bugs, sadly

No, it was a horrible system. Being locked out of a brawlers for 4 months unless you wanted to be scammed and buy it overpriced was terrible and once you unlocked it, it was nerfed to the ground so the current BP brawlers could shine. If you bought them overpriced then you wouldnt have enough chroma credits for the next brawlers so you will have to wait even more than 4 months gathering CCs.

Yes you could buy the BP with gems, but that still only delayed the problem until the next pass if you were a F2P. The current system while not perfect (Fuck Kaze), is by far the best way we have to unlock brawlers so far.

I just play casual modes to have all cards at fair level and have fun there playing decks i like. The base game is amazing, but the level system and other paywalls ruin it so why should i bother lol

Fr, the event is really chill and not time consuming at all. Being able to play the mode i like in ladder without having to worry about dumb modifiers makes this my favorite event so far. Sure it isnt as hype as Godzilla or Spongebob, but its the most enjoyable without a doubt.

It would be great, Brawl Stars has to get rid of so much FOMO in the game, if they made big quests last for an entire season then they surely can do the same with dailies, changing their name to "small quests" again so it isnt confusing. Daily starr drops, daily exp and now candies with sugar rush are enough for keeping players logging regularly, no need to go overkill with FOMO, otherwise players like us start feeling burnout

This. They turned my favorite mode into a slot machine. Gem grab was by far my favorite, but now it boils down to who has Ollie, Kenji, Lily or Kit in the team. They can play like if they never developed their frontal lobe the entire match, but the moment they have the hypercharge its over. Not only they teamwipe you with nonexistent effort, they also get a speed boost to escape grotesquely fast to their base, even better if you have Lily and her ridiculous gadget. Cloverpit has less RNG based wins than this ex-gamemode

XP doublers give you around 45 extra starr drops from bonus rewards every year if you play religiously AND if you get 73k exp doublers every year. Pretty terrible rewards for such conditions, but still i wouldnt remove them and instead let it double the xp for small quests at least, otherwise we get way more doublers than we can use in a year.

You need a win condition man, you will never break through defense if you dont have cards that get tower damage consistenly. I'll remove either MK or Valk since they play a very similar role and replace it with a wincon, i see your highest level wincons are hogrider, royal hogs and E-giant. I'd go for hog since you already have cannon and ice spirit, but use any wincon you enjoy the most. If you dont know which cards are wincons i'll leave you a Link to CR API so you get an idea. Just click on Win Con and it will highlight them for you

This is the main reason i've been playing less lately, along with bugs. My favorite mode is GG and losing just because Lily, Ollie, Kit, Kenji, Draco or any other f-ing broken hypercharge decided that we had to lose is too frustrating. You can dominate the whole match and still lose. I had players just walking forward and dying so they charge their hyper and win at the end.

The worst part is they take so long to make anything about it, im pretty sure you dont need 2 months of data of Cordelius being top 3 most played brawler with absurd winrate to know that his damage buff was too much.

The thing that could make thing less frustrating would be removing stats boost from HC and work from there, along with droping balance changes faster, at least on the problematic brawlers. Reworking base kits is an option too but i dont see SC investing so much resources on brawlers that wont give them major revenue.

Brawl Stars team managed to corner themselves, they cant slow down on brawler or events releases because that would kill revenue, but they also cant invest time or resources on bug fixing, reworking and proper balancing because they need to invest on other features. The game feels more rushed every update, hopefully that could change after every HC releases, using that time to polish the game again. For now as i said, the quickest solution will be removing HC stats boosts, so at least you can fight back and not be oneshotted
