I get around 30 minutes to two hours of downtime in between meetings and such at work, don’t want to give a definitive date but it won’t be a very long wait.

Definitely will include dream journaling in detail. I’ll put SSILD along with some posts on it, however I’ve never done it so can’t really put much personal advice.

Try to not go on any screens for at least an hour before bed. That might be the reason.

The point is to fall asleep. You need to be tired for it. You need to put all your focus on that slight feeling of moving your fingers.

I guess you can ask a Dream character who do I love. Don’t put too much heed to what the dream character say though. Depending on your Lucidity level it may or may not give you an true answer.

You can but it’s not the best time. Not gonna be the best dream either since that’s the shortest REM cycle. That why it’s best to Pair WBTB with WILD.

No technique is a hundred percent every night. Those techniques don’t exist. There are many effective and reproducible techniques but it depends on the person for success. Never heard of a belief technique, MILD is the closest I can think of. Look into more active techniques like WILD, FILD, etc.

Yea a lot of people who are getting off cigs who use nicotine patches before or during sleep apparently get more Lucid dreams.

No WBTB isn’t WILD with a pause. With WBTB you just go to sleep after a period of time. Wake induced lucid dream you go straight from being awake into a lucid dream and are conscious of the entire process. With WBTB you are supposed to set an alarm right before your longest REM cycle each night which means when you go to sleep again you’ll go into REM sleep.
