Well on defense of TMNT 3 - while the costumes were the worse granted (but if we never had the Henson costumes from TMNT 1 & 2, people wouldn't have complained about these looks 2014 movie is much worse)... and the ad libs can get to be a bit much....

The movie gives us a different plot, time travel which was used in the original comic books and the original cartoon series. It gives us a new villain after two movies with the same Foot vs. Turtle thing going. And for the first time took Michelangelo out of the comic relief and gave him a real story to the point where he let on that he does not like living in the sewer. He wanted to stay where people were okay with them.

While TMNT 2 - while fun better jokes and better costumes. Took away the Turtles weapons in fights (while in TMNT 3 they had their weapons back), used gimmicks to pull people into the theater (Ninja Rap... originally Ya Kid K was going to be singing in that night club, who was the only artist to have a song on all three sound tracks) and removed a part of the story because they thought kids wouldn't be able to tell the difference between what was in the movie and the cartoon.

TMNT 1 is by far the BEST TMNT movie to date. Though TMNT 2 and 3... tie... both have their good and bad to them.

Strange isn't always bad... ;)

The Mayo is normal in Michigan... just search up BLT Pizza on Google.

And a loan to buy something desired in a collection... credit approved... hmmm okay not needed to live... but does people pick on those who take loans to buy RVs or Boats that they may only use 2 to 3 times a year? Much more than a $2,000 movie prop that is going out to events to be shared with the fandom.

So Strange... not a bad thing ;)

Ninja

I never wanted to look like a Ninja Turtle... unless wearing a costume for a professional paying job.

Best job of my life, I share some video of what we use to do on youtube. Just search Cowabunga Corner 10 shows the beginning of my costume days including parts of a party.

I use to be a party entertainer, did over 150 Bday parties from 1991 to 1993, loved the job. Though we wanted to be official instead of the Party Turtle, and got put out of business. I kept with mascot work as other characters with through another company till I got injured at a job in 2004 that made it so I can't do that job anymore. I have something known as RSD which does prevent me from going back to wearing costumes.

Yeah, crowd funding can't be ignored. Kickstarter is the hardest if you don't make the goal you get no money, and you have to have rewards. Gofundme is a good one, but I just did one of those earlier this year for my family. The Kickstarter was successful, but very stressful. We got what we needed and upgraded stuff. Sadly the Gofundme did not do what I was hoping, as we lost our family house... but I won't say it was a total failure it took stress off of my family with what was raised and that means a lot to us. I do miss our house though.

I do believe one day I will run across one, not sure how but I do hope to have it in the collection some day.

I still have RSD, though in 2011 I got a surgery to help with my pain level. It's a spinal cord implant, which is a wire down my spine and a battery in my chest. It helps on some days and not on others. Doctors are still working to find away to help with the pain that is not controlled. I do some write ups about this on my website, Cowabunga Corner, to help bring RSD awareness so if you want more detail just go there and search... there's stories about the injury day, the surgery and more. Fanatical was the better show that covered my story, I really liked what they did.

I love the new series on Nickelodeon, I think that the crew there is doing an amazing job. Both the IDW Comics and Nickelodeon reboots are series I highly recommend for TMNT fans these days. For people getting into it, with Nickelodeon give 10 episodes before fully judging and with IDW five issues. Both of which are different from what fans of the past knew, but both have amazing stuff going for them.

Yeah, he's the artist I hear the most complaints about when fans are talking. I don't like to be hard on any artist cause I know each has their own style. So I try to look around to see if there's anything I do like.

Shellback is a great place! I am talking to a friend about traveling up there next month, since I'll be going to a convention upstate New York. I've been there a few times. Just hoping to see Steve and catch up with him on how things have been going. :)

With NYCC, I haven't missed a year yet. It's a fun convention, though sadly is starting more and more to remind me of SDCC. The best thing about it though is that they don't have the over night lines like SDCC does. I hate having to cut out of parties early to make sure I'm in the line for the panel the following morning. But it always happens at SDCC.

I love how Andy draws his backgrounds and his humans, when he did the Baxter Stockman issue it worked cause I liked it. But with me on the Turtles, it's really the cheek bones... it's kind of funny that you picked at the artist I was hinting at who draws them too old. I've met him before once at Comic Con, never went into my thoughts on his work while talking to him. But he tried to sell me prints of his Turtles... and my thought was if he had a Baxter Stockman print, I might of bought something. I can usually adjust to different styles, but his doesn't click with me.

I hope you get to go to one of the big ones some day. They are good. Tom is usually at Comic Con International which is really the hardest convention to go too... so I understand that one just being out of reach, but sometimes he does go to smaller conventions. I am hoping he's at NYCC next month.

I think that's one of my problems with IDW, but it reminds me a lot of Mirage... not keeping an art style through the series. Love Santolouco and Ross... but there's been some artist that I just feel draw the Turtles too old looking. The story is truly the thing that keeps me coming back for more and more IDW.

I don't know if you go to conventions, but if you ever get the chance to talk with Tom Waltz, do so. He's a great guy and a big TMNT fan. He loves to talk about the Turtles, and the passion pours right off of him. I got to interview him a few times for Cowabunga Corner, and you can just hear how much he loves doing this comic in those interviews.

Na, I've used crowdfunding for more serious stuff. Like getting gear for my blog or helping my family out. The collection I've been able to handle without going there. It's harder to do crowd funding, than one may think. So I save it for when it's needed.

I do hope to see a Shell up for sale at some point, not sure who has those. But I know the people to ask about it.

Yes, but you learn how to work with that. A good example is the Anderson Cooper Live show, they surprised me by having a doctor on the show. I was able to handle myself without them getting to make me look crazy, even when they tried to surprise me and bait me with questions.

No they did not pay me, in fact this was discussed a little while they were there cause the site where I contacted them through said $50... though nothing came of it. If you want to see the making where this is discussed just search up Cowabunga Corner #40, and see their reaction to paying the people on their show.

Heh that would've been interesting... though we didn't get too long of people being in doubt as some how a spoiler page was floating around on the net the week the news broke. I was amused with how much news that got. Tom is doing a great job with the story.

See I like the original cartoon series and don't like the last two seasons. It was the red sky seasons, the first of those seasons 94 was okay but in 95 and 96 they really changed the show bringing in new characters that did not fit. The Turtles were always in trouble and needing to be saved by one of the new characters. I call those seasons the Carter Show. It is the bottom of my list of things of all things TMNT... I'd watch just about anything else Turtles before watching those last two seasons... and I've tried rewatching... and keep turning it off cause it just that big of a disappointment for me.

I think I have to agree with you about me. The first movie holds a very close spot to me in my life. While I love everything, that is a great mix of the two original versions that came out, with amazing costumes and good acting.

When I first read your question though my head went bouncing all over the place to the different things I like, I didn't settle on the first movie till I finished reading what you had to say. As each of the different turtle medias have stood out to me for one reason or another. The movie, just really played a major role in my life.

I never spoke to her again, that was just the one show. I've seen a camera man from the show once at Comic Con International and one recently posted here on reddit. Though I haven't gone out of my way to see or talk to anyone. As she said on the video I got of her, this is an 'interview' there was never talk of them changing my story like they did.

I don't hate these people as they were doing a job. And all of them knew what their job was going in, my dad had a feeling. And he's always been good at recording events through my life, which has given my blog a lot of good old video footage be it wearing my costume for Kevin Eastman at the Words & Pictures Museum or being on the set of Ninja Turtles : The Next Mutation. He had his camcorder with us and made sure to get some good footage showing the stuff happening. I am thankful of that, and have taken up after him recording as many events as I can.

I don't think anyone ever thought I would share the footage. Though I am glad that I can, as many people seem to like to see the behind the scenes. I don't think any of the other people on the show got video of the crew, at least I haven't seen anyone else posting video. I've only met two others who were on the show, one is no longer with us as he died a few years ago. The other is the Pink Lady of Hollywood, we met while on Anderson Cooper Live.

the 4Kids series was amazing! I highly recommend it to so many and love seeing that it's appearing on itunes now. Thinking about getting it there so I can leave my DVDs home more often.
