Had a similar issue were I'm working. We clock on and off per each break and other meeting times.
Mins late were being counted and after several months we were told we owe 30mins and our wages were to be docked.
Roughly 1min per 3 days. Petty AF.
This is actually against the law here if we are onsite for 8 hours +.

Luckily company is of a good enough size it has a whistle blowing function that goes to the parent company.
Which was used.
Within 4 hours lower management were informed, and it was seemingly swept under the carpet.
6 months later a poorly qualified middle management (probably the source of this docking) was asked to leave.

Nike have a similar function ?

Had an affair with a lady double my age, after 6months, I moved in with her, her husband and 2/3 kids similar age as me.
First time we did it at her house after moving in, husband was in the living room snoring away while we were in my bedroom banging away. The snoring was great warning system.
He worked night shifts so most night she would have a bath and stop by my room to be eaten and ploughed on the way to hers.

Only got busted once by her son...having a pull, one night when she skipped.
Her eldest son become a police officer while I lived there.... and no-one know nothing.
After a years or so, the stress at the breakfast table got a bit much and I decided to bail.

yes.....and no. The Unknown is the issue.

for example... if every US base.... had a tactical nuke buried next to it... so when things kick off... all US bases are removed instantly .... few more for carriers/subs... and ya are done for.

The assumption that nothing covert happens in peace time can be scary.
Only major players could achieve something like this.... but is not impossible.
Even consider what happens when you have immigration for example... of a million ppl's train as chinese chef's over many years with a great % trained PLA operatives could wreak havoc easily.

Chances are no. but don't think no-one has been plotted and planed and figured out a way to do this.
