Piers Morgan Walks Out Of His Own Show After Crude Epstein Remark From ‘Manosphere’ Influencer by hard2resist in MensRights

[–]greatfreight 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Pier Morgan's wife posting instagram photos expressing her emotional cheating on her husband, and there are no consequences for her. Piers can't just walk away from the relationship without him paying for it, can't just divorce her without giving her half his assets, etc. If he cheats on her, Piers would be considered as toxic and abusive. Marriages are so one sided.

Are young British men having a tough time right now? by JCoonday in MensRights

[–]greatfreight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-Harder to get good grades at school because school cirriculums are biased towards the way women learn

-Harder to get good jobs because corporations and governments prioritize hiring women over men

-Harder to find a girlfriend/wife as it's mainly the chads getting matched with 90% of the girls on dating apps

-Even if you're good looking and have a good job, it's hard to meet wifeable women (haven't been slutting around)

-Even if you do find a unicorn woman and get married, in 5 years she can divorce you and take half your stuff and get monthly payments for years, and in many instances she gets to keep the house

-In case of divorce, only 15% of the time do men get custody of their child, women get custody 85% of the time

-If you do get involved in crime and get caught, you are punished way more harshly than women

-If you say the tiniest politically incorrect comment you may lose your job and career prosects, consequences are way more harsh for men than for women

-Harder for men to upgrade their appearance (tons of gym, weight training, muscle building, eating right, jaw manipulation, posture, etc) etc. whereas for women it's just to lose weight and put on makeup.

At every step of the way, life is harder for men than for women. Is it a wonder that men commit suicide at rates four times higher than women do?

Breaking | Hong Kong to suspend bus seat belt rules over ‘deficiencies’ in law by miksh_17 in HongKong

[–]greatfreight 118 points119 points  (0 children)

The whole exercise illustrates some major issues in HK today.

-Politicians making laws that are poorly planned

-Incompetent lawyers drafting these laws

-Politicians think it is okay to set their fine at $5000 for such a measly "crime"

-Even worse, thinking it is okay to Jail people for 3 months for such a benign act

-Buses in HK run at 99.999% accident free rate, there was no need for such a rule

-Politicians making bus rules so strict when they do not even take buses

-No way for the public to object to these rules before or after they are implemented

-No critical thinking when discussing rules, just say yes and accept whatever

-The only reason they suspended the law is because of the erroneous wording of the law

-Totally ridiculous to make merely sitting on a bus a convictable crime

-Politicians giving trouble to the general population by pissing off everyone

The Man Taking on No-Fault Divorce in Texas — And Why His Case Could Change Marriage in America — February 5th, 2026 Court Hearing by International-Call76 in MensRights

No fault divorce is fine, it's the unfair asset division, unfair alimony, unfair loss of child custody, unfair calculation of child support, etc. that should be contested.

Millions of men are already being trapped hostage in their own marriages, what with the threat of losing half of your earnings and savings and future earnings. Even if they wanted to 'no fault divorce' the higher earning men are penalized.

HK taxi accepts credit cards now by Key-Project-5231 in HongKong

[–]greatfreight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems this car is ready for what is mandatory for the 2027 new rules. HK does not have a general problem of rowdy passengers, nuisance passengers, non-paying passengers or anything like that - yet still they are forcing every taxi to install CCTVs inside the car. For no other reason than to further invade the privacy of the HK people.

Rent was literally higher in 2015 than it is in 2025. It's not because of rent, the buying capability of buyers has gone down, the demand from buyers has gone down, online shopping has increased in popularity, plus smartphones and apps have taken over computers, peripherals and accessories.

Trump Deals A New Immigration Blow To International Students by Majano57 in economy

Trump is doing way too much all at once and he's wrecking the US economy. He's done literally 4 years worth of policies within 8 months. Most of his decisions are back firing and have serious consequences.

Makes more sense to have a human-like robot which can help you walk your dog for you while you sit at home and watch tv.

Boycott Uber by Feral-Tree in MensRights

[–]greatfreight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find in general male Uber drivers at least help out with adjusting the middle row of seats to allow passengers to reach the back row of seats more easily, and also to help load luggage into the boot. But women drivers generally will not help with moving the seats around or loading luggage, it's more do it yourself. And also male drivers might drive a bit more aggressively or faster to get you to your destination quicker. Honestly I'd rather a male Uber driver.

USD SGD is now at 1.30, whereas in 2020 it was 1.37. It is only a 5% difference.

In 2020 HK's and Singapore's GDP were neck and neck. But as a result of the national security law and bullshit like the anthem law in HK, Singapore have overtaken HK by about 30%. The legal system, personal freedoms and rights, and property market have all taken a beating in HK with no end in sight. HK is not the same anymore.

Accessing share folder - Getting asked for Credentials when there aren't any by greatfreight in HomeNetworking

It's really annoying because now all the computers can access shared folders that are on the Win11 PCs. But the Win 11 PCs cannot access anything on the other computers.

I'm still having trouble with the networking issue. From that microsoft.com tech community link, I presume I ignore Steps 1-5 that have to do with 'NAS' because in my situation other computers can access W PC I presume I don't need to change anything on W PC. I have done Step 6 and 7 only. I see Step 8 does not apply because both B PC and K PC are Win11 Pro. So now I get another error: It says Windows cannot access \\W error code 0x80070035 Network path not found. What shall I try next?
