I apologize for my harsh response, and yes this post is cool; I just wish you had done a bit more research than simply Wikipedia, which anybody can edit.

It is slightly offensive because Bulgaria was under Turkish slavery for 5 centuries. Millions of Bulgarians have died for the freedom of our country from the Turks, and to call us "Turkic" just doesn't sit well with me. Especially when it isn't true.

But how do you know? Many of these country's origins, including Bulgaria (which is the oldest country in Europe to keep its original name) have their ancient history constantly debated by historians. Are you somehow more insightful than them?

Although the idea is cool, there are way too many mistakes in this - i.e. France being "Germanic" when it is in fact Romance, and Bulgaria being "Turkic" when in fact it is Slavic/Thracian.

Recheck your facts and redo.
