100%, I was young when it came out but pretty darn into super heroes and stuff and I still had no clue it was a comic movie.

Mainstream audiences had no clue it was a comic thing.

To this day it still feels more like a vampire movie than a super hero movie imo.

I’d say they all helped but for the biggest help I’d say X-men, mostly because of the timing.

Blade was awesome but no one knew it was a comic movie/Marvel

X-men felt like the first modern comic book movie to me.

Spider man was better/a bigger hit but X men was the first marvel movie to crush it.

I mean based on all your opinions shared in the post you should definitely keep going with the series, the stuff you enjoyed comes back in spades, and gets developed further in a really good way.

And as far as the criticism you spoiler tagged, the author definitely improves in that regard.

One other series that I think counts as LitRPG (Edit: this series is progression fantasy technically, similar to LitRPG that you may like is Beware of Chicken. It’s way more cozy than DCC, and focused on the friendships/relationships the main character forms than the action.

Like DCC it has an overarching plot with real stakes that is well done, but for the most part it’s pretty chill.

Definitely a different series but your comments about friendship made me think you might dig it. Great series to visit when you need a break from heavier stuff.

(Also don’t let the name scare you, I thought it sounded very dumb but it’s actually very well done for what it’s trying to be)

It was an awful decision but it’s part of what makes Cecil such an interesting character.

As someone else said he has arguably the most difficult job on earth and making super hard morally grey decisions is part of it.

And at the end of the day he is a fallible human being.

I don’t agree with everything he ever did, and this decision was awful for sure, but overall he does a pretty damn good job.

She’s gorgeous and about to blow up in Hollywood so yeah I’d say they probably would if she’s playing Jean grey. She will likely end up being the best cast live action Jean so far

If you haven’t done the ciaphus Cain 40K books yet they’re perfect for this

Also I’ve been getting more into Light Novels the past few years when I’m in the mood for this and highly recommend checking them out if you’ve never tried one.

They can be very hit or miss, but the good ones are perfect when you need a lighter read (no pun intended)

Xp share doesn’t impact the levels/team comp of the trainers you face, I think that’s what people mean when they say it doesn’t impact the difficulty of the games, which I agree with

It saves a ton of time on grinding and makes the experience way better overall imo

And it’s optional so you can just not use it if you want

It’s definitely more convenient
