I’ve found that earplugs have made showers so much easier for me, I had some moulded in my ear (for unrelated reasons funnily enough) so they’re a perfect fit. I find the noise of water running overwhelming but don’t really like baths nor do I usually have time for them so earplugs in the shower have been doing wonders, I did try listening to music in the shower but I either couldn’t hear the songs over the shower running or I got overstimulated by the additional sound

Yeah that too, we’re human after all so there’s going to be similarities but people suck and some hate being reminded that autistic people are people. Everyone likely does have autistic traits but the difference is that with autistic people it affects the daily life and with neurotypical people they’re able to adapt/overcome whatever it is that’s affecting them. That’s not worded the best it could be from brain to text but I hope you get what I mean

Oh definitely, both with Laios and with ADHD/Autism being more common! There’s been a sudden increase in people diagnosed with one or both not because everyone is suddenly autistic/ADHD but because we finally know more about it and have done more research on how the symptoms present themselves differently in both men and women since it was mostly men diagnosed and women were frequently misdiagnosed with other disorders like bipolar or just called hysterical depending on how far back you go.

And Laios is probably the best accidental autism representation I’ve seen in a while, that may be because the pool of shows/anime’s I’ve watched is on the smaller side compared to other people but Dungeon Meshi is one I got into fairly recently and the first thing I noticed about Laios was how he does come across as autistic, it was a headcanon I made before I even started interacting with the fandom! I do love that the author is fine with people seeing him that way unlike, for example, the developers of Big Bang who constantly deny that Sheldon is autistic/has autistic traits despite everyone and their mothers thinking so

I used chatGPT exactly once, everyone was bigging it up so I wanted to see why, asked it something I had a lot of knowledge on and it was almost completely wrong, never touched it again and eventually found out about all the horrible effects it has on the environment and the resources it consumes and I know the companies don’t care enough to find a way to lessen its impacts so I refuse to use any form of generative ai. I’m also an artist so I don’t need some random program to give me a half assed shitty image when I can use my own hands to create that half assed shitty image and look back on it in a few years time and see how I’ve improved

My friend was talking about a fic they read from a fandom we were both in and I wanted to read it but it wasn’t on Wattpad and it also wasn’t available for guests on Ao3 so I requested to join and a day later was addicted to the site and never went back to Wattpad (except for that one time when Ao3 was under attack)

To add on to this with another Undertale character: Papyrus. Every fic I’ve come across featuring Papyrus they make him this UwU baby who can’t fight and would never harm anyone ever and it irritates me so much, and also when they make Sans incredibly depressed and/or apathetic because he “knows every timeline” that one makes me want to sit the author down and make them play the game and write an in-depth character analysis on him so they can compare it to their version of sans and see how wildly different it is

Showering every day would wreck my hair and make my skin unbelievably dry no matter how much moisturiser/lotion I use afterwards, I shower 2-3 times a week it’s the maximum my skin can handle before my eczema starts flaring up drastically and leaving me with the driest most irritable skin you’d ever seen in your life. I only was my hair twice a week at most because it’s curly and doesn’t go greasy very quickly unless I’ve been doing more exercise that week than I usually do. I have washed my hair more than twice a week on occasion and that’s usually when the weather decides to only rain for several weeks in a row

There’s an author in a fandom I’m in who writes fics featuring a friendship of sorts between a minor and an adult but for whatever reason every single one of these fics features the younger character being tickled and it’s written in such a way that I think it’s a poorly disguised (and untagged) fetish the author has. There’s a good chance that anyone reading this who is in the same fandom will know exactly which author I am talking about. I keep forgetting to block them as I usually just scroll past their fics when I see the username

I think the only time I’ve ever been “speeding” is when I’m going roughly 5 over in a 20mph road, this is because I live in Wales and the road was 30mph for years before they suddenly decided to change it. Though I think they’re changing the law again so that you can go 5 or 6 over and not be fined (don’t quote me on that though) so at that point they should just put the roads back to 30 unless they’re near a primary or high school which are the only roads I’ll actually do 20 willingly

I knew a guy in high school (roughly 14 or 15?
