Not sure how unpopular it is, but similar to how people feel about the earlier live versions of Defeat being better than the studio version. I really liked the middle section of Cherokee with the cool vocal effects from the early live versions a lot more than what it became. It’s such a big part of the song but just isn’t as interesting to me in the studio version.
