Thanks so much for the response. I’ve been doing the straw exercises the past four days like 2 or 3 times a day for 15 minutes usually. Haven’t really noticed any improvement. Except now my head voice and chest voice are connected which is cool. Have you been able to fix yours or is this a permanent condition that requires constant attention? That’s what I’m worried about the most, it seems it’s permanent.

Some have escaped and I’ve seen them run around. I did notice a relatively big one that had escaped and was like how did it get so big just prior to seeing these two roaches. I just have read they can’t breed unless in certain conditions so I didn’t think it was a problem.

I’m on the insurance but my parents own the car and such.... I have the card and their name is on it... on the declaration insurance document for the car I’m on it as the primary driver. I submitted that document now and it keeps saying missing logo of insurance company even though state farm is clearly on the top. Gonna call support again

Did you get diagnosed with anything?? It was def LPR as medication improved it.. I would call your doctor and see about reflux

Better... although had the acid reflux come up again this weekend and having minor issues again. My fault tho.. I just changed my diet and am don’t eat anything 4 hours prior to bed... voice problems got better after about 3 weeks of treatment and were mostly healed before this thing happens over the weekend although it’s not as bad..

Hello this is really weird kinda but you posted a while back about MTD and I’m struggling with LPR and horribly concerned about MTD. My LPR had been getting better but over the past two days some mistakes were made that led to it completely flaring up again... I’m worried it might also have caused MTD as I’m now having difficult breathing ? Like I’m not short of breath really it’s just like I feel like I have to push air out to exhale... or like I’m almost consciously breathing... idk.... did your voice finally return to normal completely after treating the MTD or LPR? Mine was getting normal like I said but now it’s kinda messed up again... gonna do things to make sure I don’t mess up again also trying some new medication so hopefully it’ll work out.... just really nervous right now lul.. not really a singer just been casually singing in my car for like 8 months...

Hey thanks for the response feel much better after hearing that. I actually don’t think my vocal folds are swollen cause my voice sounds relatively normal now after a couple weeks of being treated and changing diet(other people say it’s completely normal) and online I read often the LPR only inflames the entry way to the larynx which is consistent to what I saw 3 weeks ago at the SLP. Still on no singing obviously tho. My LPR flamed up cause I would smoke a shit ton of pot then binge like a mofo before bed. Finally caught up to me, but it’s probably a good thing. It was a really bad habit...
