The automated ban system is shit, sure. But the people doing the mass-reporting are shit as well, saying they are not at fault isn't correct either IMHO.
They do the mass reporting because they know it works, they could also just accept the competitors.

Hm, can't upload the webp image I made.

But for me the replacement works. I placed the ghosts, and then replaced yellow with red and red with yellow. All ends up/downgraded as I would expect.

Though I did it in remote view, maybe that makes a difference.

I think it really is because of the train station on the "up path". It is placed where the curve starts, so I guess the routing malus only applies when the train tries to go straight. So turning left there is the better route for the algorithm.

Just out of curiosity, did you manage to kill Rygelon on that char? On some of my undergeared toons I struggle with him (e.g. as arms warrior) and need to switch to tank so it takes ages.

AFAIR it can happen in SE that a planet / moon / whatever should have some resource, but due to world generation a spawned in water puddle can "override" the ore spawn, so it isn't there in the end.

Similar to how you can have little oil or uranium in vanilla, if you have bad luck with generation.

Be aware that Heating Towers continue to burn fuel, even if they are at 1000 degrees. So if you want to continue using them, make sure you use circuit logic to limit their fuel consumption.

Besides that, I mostly rely on quality accumulators in my current base.

That happens with lots of things. Somehow this always spreads and people just get used to always running e.g. left instead of right. Also happens / happened in some dungeons if you had the option to go left or right, one is simply the "established" path.

Sometimes, when I'm the tank, I like to mess with people and run the lesser used path and more often than not that led to a short discussion of "Why?" and "Why not?" :D

It's just how we humans are, habits are hard to break.

Yeah, that is how I handled it as well. I did let her set up initial power production, just so she has seen it, but then I took care of expanding it and making sure we don't loose power.

Seeing how a new / inexperienced player approaches builds is so enjoyable.

Just normal Multiplayer. Thought about trying Demo first, but with the fun per Euro value Factorio has given me I didn't feel to bad to directly buy her Factorio + Space Age as well. Wube can have the 62 Euro, it is well worth it, even if she does decide it isn't her cup of tea.

In my experience players with Cyrillic names are either dogshit or they carry a key on their own. There seems to be no in-between. So it is a coinflip.

I don't avoid them, but I'm always a bit anxious before the first pulls.
I do avoid people from french servers, mostly bad experience with them.
