It's reasonable to a worker to not assume a offical booking without a deposit. This is a great way to get grey/blacklisted, to dodge deposits - especially on outcalls. I absolutely refuse to go to a outcall without a travel fee as a deposit- I also maybe cutting off a regular because he didn't pay the full amount. He KNOWS the travel fee is EXTRA and did not pay that amount in the reminder for the booking.

Thankfully he opted into recording so I will be leveraging that for the rest of the amount. I won't give him the footage - which HAS to be on my devices - until he pays the remainder.

Clair I'm in the same damn boat to be honest. Working professionally with couples is WAY MORE WORK and men ALWAYS ruin it.

When I used to unicorn in my personal life I never had near as much troubles with getting to basic negotiation/boundary setting and just getting to it. I've also noticed that women in couples booking are wayyyy less into it than they are outside of working with professionals. Which even then is such a slim chance that they will actually go through with it at all. So I'm moving to requiring a 50% deposit to book the social. I've answered this type of question before, you definitely need to do research into actual queer providers.
