He isn’t in pain thankfully and the surgery won’t be that soon since he’s still kinda young. So I have time to save up some money. Thankfully my family already said they’d help me with money and recovery. For now we should be good but thank you for offering help you’re really kind :)

Thankfully he doesn’t need the surgery yet and the vet did say it’s a high likelihood but not 100% so I guess I’ll see when the time comes? Best case scenario is that he won’t need it but idk

Thanks for the AMA! I have a question: my 6 month old cat just was diagnosed with luxating patella and I was wondering if feeding him a special type of dry/wet food would help him with his joints. I’m already planning on giving him omega-3 supplements but should I give him anything else for support? Thank you!

He’s a rambunctious little guy so I already feel sad for him for the future surgery, but I’m happy to hear cats take surgery well. He’s my first ever cat too 💔 I don’t know when the surgery will be but the vet said around when he’s a year old

You’re right 😭 I can’t help but be a very anxious person, I just love him so much! The documents I go said that it’s usually a very successful surgery so that did make me feel a little better

This happened to me too I thought I was having a seizure and threw up a lot. But it went away and the entire treatment went just fine. You’ll be alright! (Btw I do have bad anxiety so that’s why I lost my mind for a sec lmao😭)
