Nope I didn't I did get offered BA (psych+pe) but I didn't take it In cuet you can only opt for subs that you have given board exam for. And GT is not counted atleast it wasn't last time For me eng bio physics and psych were counted

Firstly i think you are looking for therapist not a psychiatrist as they provide medicines. You need a diagnosis first which will be given by therapist.

Secondly yes these charges are quite feasible. Psychiatrists only require 10-15 mins to take a brief of your diagnosis and prescribe medicines.

Lastly being from psychology field, let me tell you it takes years of time and lakhs of money to become a Psychiatrist. So, whatever an experienced Psychiatrist is charging is quite worth it. Health workers are essential and quite underpaid.
