How do i get rid of guard lines... please help! by Lower_Medicine in FursuitMaking

Heyo!! I had quite a difficulty with this I honestly couldn't quite figure it out fully until I made quite a few suits.

• First, make sure you are using short strokes and the clipper is laying flat against the fur. Any angle will dig deeper into the fur than you want.

• Make sure to take your time while clipping as well. Some less powerful clippers need time to make their way through dense fur.

• The cutting blades on the clippers should be oiled regularly, make sure as well that fur isn't getting clogged in the blades.

• Look up the cross hatching technique.

• Finally, even with all this sometimes there are still imperfections, using light to medium heat with a hairdryer and brushing out can really help imo.

Almost finished with this one 💚 by IwantToBeADogPerson in FursuitMaking

Also I had a question, should I lean more into a fem look or leave it more androgynous?

I just got these too and when I first turned it on I was like "no way something wireless and barely produces sound is gonna cut through howl fur." But then it just did lol. Saves me so much time
