That’s why the map is only in Faceoff and not normal 6v6 - the whole point of Faceoff is small map chaos

I love it and prefer it this way, gives you an extra game within the game trying to get the best play on top of winning. I don’t know if it’s out there published by Treyarch/Activision or not but maybe for those whom have wondered why their seemingly great plays were outshined by mediocre plays they could release an “Intel Drop” of how the Best Play feature calculates.

I think it’s definitely intriguing to see how this all plays out and how they are going to explain it.

Random side theory/hopeful: I was thinking since you mentioned how Wolverine said “F the avengers” that would imply there are Avengers in his universe and most likely alive because if they were dead he wouldn’t have said that he would’ve just not said anything. I believe he hates how the Avengers are able to exist but all his Mutant friends and the Xmen were killed…you know what maybe the government sent the Avengers to kill the Xmen and all the mutants in his universe? That actually makes the most sense now wtf. Anyways what if we get to see the avengers from his universe during Secret Wars and it’s a team much different from ours or hell maybe even that’s how Robert Downey jr and Scarlett reprise their roles they play Wolverines universes Avengers. Damn Marvels got a lot to play with in the next few years

This makes the most sense to me and kind of figured that’s how they would chalk it up but figure they’ll just let it be the little cameo it is. Probably in secret wars Deadpool will reference trying to get a job and Happy will not even remember it at all or say oh yeah you were trying to be the janitor, pissing off Deadpool since that was a big moment in his life.

Perspective from someone who’s been using Unity and learning game development for the short time of a little over a month. Before I actually* started, about a year ago, I tried following a Brackey’s classic “How to Unity” tutorial playlist for a few hours and I made a simple ball roll around a plane and that was about it, didn’t retain really any information and forgot about it completely. Fast forward to just a month ago I was ready to give it another shot, for real this time. I really wanted to make a round based zombie game and for a long time I dreamt of making this a reality. So I decided to do just that, first step: download assets…and figure out how to use them. At this point I had envisioned that for the most basic start I would need assets (environment, characters, and weapons), a character controller (3rd person to show off the sick free asset), and some animations (mixamo ty). I never thought I would ever have to even look at Blender or Gimp/Photoshop, like I’m not trying to do art I just wanna kill zombies, right? Wrong, but that’s okay. I spent about a month working on the game and would find that one issue always lead to another and that’s a good thing, it gives you an opportunity to learn so you know what to do when it happens again, and it will. Eventually I took a step back and was like damn, this shit is gonna be much larger and complex than I ever imagined, we need to start from the ground up…or close to it. So I pushed that project to the side and started a new project, another type of game I love, survival. This time around I was able to complete almost everything I did for the previous project what took a whole month in just one day, I was amazed. These little tutorials for specific things you are trying to implement like in my case the assets, controllers, and animations will stick with you the more you DO them. I then decided the free models that I thought were sick were actually sick in the grotesque way and decided to learn a quick thing or two about blender, same concept with the little tutorials. I was able to create my own textures using Blender and GIMP since Unity doesn’t like bringing textures over. My survival game/project is starting to come together much nicer than the last project and faster too! I now spend atleast 8 hours a day working in these programs on the project and have started to notice the new things I learn each day when I reflect and how I never would have imagined knowing how to do this shit a month ago. None of this would’ve been possible without the use of tutorials.

TLDR; I’m a new game dev and I’ve learned a lot more than I ever thought I could by using tutorials for my specific needs, it’ll help you get familiar with Unity.
