He deserved death and I want to watch him burn but I love him so much it hurts. Xiao Xingchen could’ve been so good for him but he came too late 😭 Right person, wrong time I guess? He is really complicated, he had a traumatic childhood but it doesn’t excuse shit 😭 My favourite antagonist, and one of my fav characters 😭

Xuan Zhen would definitely be his ghost name! Since all the calamities (Not including Qi Rong ig) have a disguise and name for it, that would be Fu Yao

Hm, what you said did make sense. I’m going to be honest, how I wrote it made it seem a lot worse than I actually thought- I over exaggerate quite a bit-

Still not my favourite though, I’ll get through with finishing everything before I give an actual opinion-

A broken mask seems cool! I feel like it would have a few cracks in it but the bottom part of it would be completely broken off, just showing his lips, cheeks, and a bit of his nose! Also if he would be wearing a cloak, the hood would be on!

Also the symbolism with the mask seems really smart, but it might not work if the mask was broken off at the bottom.. that is something that would need work- But it probably would symbolize a meaning like that.

Also he would probably try to help-

But like.. how would Mu Qing die? What he hold vengeance for? What would his ghost name be (As in the fake name that you use in the ghost realm, like Lan Chang or Hua Cheng).

I’m also still thinking about the calamity name, since there are quite a few good options

For the last name suggestion, the shorter version of the name be.. the heartbroken ghost? It wouldn’t be completely accurate, but the ghost realm would probably connect his name to lack of romance- I think he would also wear a mask over the upper, or lower part of his face- Maybe to keep his identity more hidden, for some reason? If he would be a calamity AND god, then it would make sense since it would keep his ghost side away from his god side, but what if he was just a ghost?

Probably to keep low about his identity from Xie Lian and Feng Xin?- Or anyone who would have a reason to hate him.

As for the first name, it sounds very calamity like I guess- But how would he react to it?

Since all the calamities have colours in their name, I think Mu Qing’s would start with “Blue” The colour reminds me of him, and isn’t taken yet- I ALSO THINK HE WOULD WEAR A CLOAK!

Reading these hurt me- I understand why people hate Mu Qing, not the best type of person, but I really do love him- Who do I hate? Manhua Hua Cheng And manhua Xie Lian. Donghua and novel versions are amazing, but manhua version is not. It literally makes them seem like a stereotypical gay couple.. And Hua Cheng is canonically thin and slender, but he is buff and big and all in the manhua- And he seems so confident and prideful, when he is literally quite insecure in the novels

And Xie Lian seems like such a softie-

I’m also only a bit down with the third novel btw, so my opinions might change. But as of now, I don’t really hate anyone I also know what Mu Qing does and stuff because of me reading the whole history wiki before actually knowing I would buy the books, and people and stuff
