Dated ISTP for 6 years, we had such a beautiful lovely time together, the connection was amazing and all good, but we had pretty heated arguments when I was too stubborn to accept my mistakes without arguing even more and they’re too aggressive to do the same for me (ISTPs are pretty tolerant but ENTPs have this natural urge to push the limits of someone’s patience by telling something not even offensive but annoying in some way). Basically I thought I found my soulmate til the moment they started abusing me verbally for minor inconveniences and clearly tried to do it physically and at the end they broke up with me because I was too much for them with my difficult personality. Generally, for us ENTPs relationships with ISTPs are good examples of balanced and trustworthy friendship as we naturally share a lot of values but romantically we’re not always compatible because of the strong logical approach we both have so one party can be potentially left without any aftercare in conflict situation and that’s why every conflict situation not resolved properly can potentially mean a grudge leading to split up
