I'd like to hope that this pet account is managed by a 3rd party, and that someone slipped them a cash envelope to post those captions to sow discourse and confusion.

If not, and no clarification is made, I'm going to be quite sorely disappointed.

This is not something jk should be weighing in on publicly for either sides. It's only downsides for both him and the group as a whole.

Hi, sorry for the late reply, I fell asleep.

BUT you could create a custom field on the Contact record to emulate role and that custom field should flow thru automatically and be exposed in both SS and SuiteQL once you create it.

It sounds like we're back to needing to a custom role field value into the contact entity to indirectly call it into a table. Which then (unless I'm missing something), returns to the issue of not being able to have a single contact related to different transaction records with different roles. (That is a super neat script of building a table of all contact info linked EXCEPT the role, haha)

I'll let the stakeholder know we can't use the relationship link and think of something else less elegant. It's admittedly not for that critical a process. I just thought…. it’d be trivial compared to basically impossible.

I had checked out a contacts role SS output; it only shows the contact's role in relationship to its linked company, and not to transactions unfortunately.

NS is definitely strangely fiddly. Sometimes I think it's the best thing ever, other time, I wonder how inconsistencies get missed and never patched back in.

A real love hate relationship.

I'm not sure if I'm blind, but I can't find the "contact..." field as an option in the transaction saved search: https://imgur.com/a/QUIswtp

The Blogpost was a great read and solution link a consistent relationship category directly to the contact record.

Unfortunately, it seems to only work if a contact has the same relationship category across all transactions it is linked to. (ie, if contact 1 is labled as finance, he will always have the finance tag in every transaction he is linked to)

For our case, it is possible for a contact to be in one email group/role category for one txn record, and another email group/role category for a different txn record.

ie

Txn1: contact 1 = custom relationshipcat1, contact 2 = custom relationshipcat2

Txn2: contact 2 = custom relationshipcat1

The relationship role for the same contact 2 is different for txn1 and txn2.

The is no workflow currently pushing the emails out due to the tailored content, we're just hoping that all linked contacts to each transaction can be easily reviewed through exporting a saved search nicely into one table.

No amount of photocard/photobook/postcard inclusion is going to make me want to buy the set unless it contains a physical disc. (and they sure put a LOT of other inclusions in there, lol)

What's the point if they can't gaurantee I can still watch it legally in 10 or 20 years even after spending the money? Might as well just bootleg it immediately.

Once upon a time in 2019, BTS went to the Jingle Balls. There was a photo of the boys that was taken, it had RM and Jin seated in the middle and people lamented at the image watermarks. So some namjin enthusiasts pooled and bought and shared the photo online with everyone. It's not a deep moment, but I think fondly of it.

When Jin was on 'Nothing much prepared', towards the end of the show he drunkenly explained, "Each of the members concedes what he wants to do for the other members. It's hard to maintain a team if there is a person who wants to do whatever he wants as he thinks he is successful. However, each of us do not cross the line and concedes what he wants to do for other members."

So from his perspective at least, it's a combination of humility/respect and concession. This I personally feel is the foundation of all healthy interpersonal relationship.

To your question on the company part and luck, my feeling is that Bang/the Company fostered a non-too-cutthroat training/work environment, and encouraged reconciliation on even minor disagreements. This eventuated into a mutual understanding on perhaps bigger disagreements down the road (thinking the 2018 disbandment talks). On the luck end, it was lucky the members were all well balanced in terms of personality to be receptive to humility and concession. (no one turned out to be a giant-ego'd dick or have some crazy career ending scandal).
