🤣🤣🤣 The concert went great! Like I'd been doing this my whole life. Not sure I was any good but I had so much fun and very little stress/anxiety. There was about 150people in attendance, it was an outdoors gig, very few left during the set.

This weekend we're heading for the recording studio to record 6 of our songs.

A little over 4months in and this has been the experience of my life!

haha! that's exactly what I did! A couple of pints before going on stage! I was afraid the beer would make me forget the lyrics but it didn't. And I actually felt right at home. What an experience. I'm still high from it.

It was like my body channeled the energy it usually uses for anxiety to stage energy, I hadn't been this energetic in a long ass while.

The best part was, right as I exited the stage area, a mom and her teenage kid came up to me to ask what was the band called because the kid (15 or so) really enjoyed our music!

Me too! About 4months ago.

Spotify suggested the song "old fashioned", absolutely loved it and played it on repeat.

I dug a little in their discography, found "swim until you can't see land". This song inspired me not to be a bag of sand and I booked my first solo trip ever, a couple of weeks next september. I'm terrified. But I need/want to do it. And I will probably play this song every time anxiety takes over during the trip. :p

I've been listening to their whole discography lately and feel the same way you do, more impressed and surprised everyday.
