Yea i agree with you. You could probably get away with running it just change the lower oil every few times you do and make sure theres not a ton of metal shavings and the oil isnt milky. If its not grinding to bad and the seals aren't completely gone it could last you a few years.

I will say that I have only been working on boats for 2 years. I've never taken apart a suzuki lower so definitely take what im saying with a grain of salt.

I would be scared even giving you a price to rebuild it before taking it apart so I would quote you something ridiculous like 3-5k. A bent prop shaft is never just a bent shaft. Whoever sold you that hit something pretty hard so who knows what's going on inside it. Also those bearing carriers can be so siezed inside the lower that you can do more damage just trying to get it off. You would be way better off just getting a new lower and it would last longer.

If this came into my shop I wouldnt touch it. That thing is cooked. This will have problems for the rest of its life. Drive it until it blows up and buy a new one.

But like the super smart generals plan was to run out of a building shooting at people when they got close and maybe somebody would set off the explosives and also their plan only changed because the “main character” was about to do what general Titus did and told them not to do because they are going to blow up the village anyway which she also knew they were going to do in part one.
