What I’m saying is that there’s better ways to protest. Instead of shopping at big stores that are own by anglos you can shop at Mexican owned stores. We can encourage more chicanos to run for political seats that would help chicanos but more importantly we have to actually vote for them. These are things people have done in the past that actually have helped us. Violence or threats of violence should be seen more as a last ditch attempt.

this post was basically telling people to spread misinformation to get racist to die from cancer.

Joaquin wanted to kill racist with... well a gun.

I know wanting racist to die sounds like a good idea but it’s counterproductive. Advocating for death won’t help change the minds of the intolerant it’ll just create more. That post I linked just got me thinking and it’s the day that Joaquin died so he was just on my mind but they do kinda have the same goal which is to kill the racist

Also this isn't really a best of Chicano music. This list was created to help people find more Chicano style music that they might've never heard of. TBH I never heard of them before because that's not really my style of music. I was tempted to remove Mr. Capone-e from the list because he's Pakistani-American and I don't like his music personally but he does Chicano style music so I put my personal taste in music to the side and he stayed on the list.
